I vote for an event where snipers using scout suits and sniper rifles, but not redlining or MCC camping, get the WP of anyone they kill. But I'm a little biased. ;P
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

How a about a "leap the peep" event in ref to leap years being decided by February.
For every player you jump over with a scout suit you will get 50wp. Of course this will be done with black eagle scout suit of which you will receive 50 more. Because we all need more of those right?
And also, for every scout you kill whilst they leap over you you will getGǪ wait for itGǪ 50 black eagle scout suits.

For the top three ppl you will get 10 Thale's.
For everyone else you will getGǪ 50 black eagle scout suits.

Sounds good to me. I think I may be on my way to running out of black eagle suits. Plus the chance to win enough Thales to actually field one and try it out....

i read on the "Devhangout" forum from CCPSabrewing that 1.8 will be either late Feb or early March... by his guess. he wasn't going to be final on anything. |

I've given up on the events. They are never very good.
Most likely it's going to be some bonus for using rifles. Perhaps they will give a bonus to redline rail tanks and other tanks. Or double Isk if you lock your district in PC.
But one event that could actually be fun: Bonus LP in FW based on WP earned in a match. Maybe 10% loyalty bonus for playing the same faction entire week, plus 10% more LP for playing Caldari or Amarr. |

I squadded with a few devs from "TheDevHangout" channel in the beginning of January. They wouldn't give us any exact date but they "hinted" nothing big would be coming until March. |
