To all MAG vets who mourn with me on this sad day, feel free to join HvK pub or invite me to your own chat so we can squad together. This extends to those of you who were in Raven and even SVER, not just Valor vets like myself; it is time to set aside our differences and come together as Shadow War PMC vets.
Perhaps someday we will all come together in one Clan/Corp as MAG players united and show DUST or any other game we move to what playing massive hectic matches like Domination did to us. >:D

People from clans like PFB, 3C, STB, RND, Warravens, KEQ, Ultramarines, PRO, Onslaught Inc., ~^~, and ANONYMOUS (5*K) came from MAG to Dust.
I played last night for old times sake. R.I.P MAG. You will be missed.

However even if this is good for a game with 2000 players on the same map we could expect the fps to be alot higher due to the fact that SOE is optimising the PS4 since all PS4s have the same hardware

Sad story
For me is MAG the best FPS ever.
I remember hen i went through game and i found my first clan, they were CBKs o SVER after i went twice through Valor and spent some veting time in RAVEN.
I remember that like yesterday when i saw BHD thread on MAG forums and i told Plymco Pilgrim:"Mama i coming home.", and from that time i battle With BHD everywhere.
I remember that thread and trashtalking with RND, KEQ and others.
Oh Boyo that time will never come back and its sad.
MAG was a milestone for me, like for player.
It was the best time, its just sad sony dont push more for this kid.
That game was awesome combination of shooting, strategy and everything what i ever want from game.
I cant forgot that time with BHD clanmates, whe we all rushing for point and that all.
Heck it have record for in guiness for bigest amount of realtime playing players on map.
MAG was one best and only MASSIVE game, nothing beated its 256 players.
And to be honest if i compare it with dust, for me will be winner MAG for everything what we had ingame.
I know we have here sci-fi and vehicles etc. But MAG have versatile sides, strategy boosting maps and that hate between PMCs.
Its really sad how its ends.
I really love MAG i will have that game still in my mind if someone start with Massive multiplayer gaming, MAG was, is and will be a legend for me.
Rest in Peace Massive Action Game, you is the best fps game and one and only King of massive online gaming.

Wish I would have remembered it was ending today, I would have gotten a few final DOMs in.
Now that it's actually gone, I'm finally realizing how big of a deal it's death really is. I probably put about 1200 hours into MAG, and I've barely played it since I was accepted into the Dust beta. Luckily, it will never be completely gone for me, I still play Dust with some of the same people I fought alongside in MAG.
MAG was the first multiplayer FPS I actually put any notable amount of time into, and it turns out it was a great way to start.
So many corps in Dust wouldn't exist if it weren't for MAG, Molon Labe being one of them. |

Goodbye old friend. I do a shot in your honor as was the custom of a small group called shootbreakstab. We loved Valor and proudly "held the bridge and went to C." We shot at the sign and said "Welcome to Alaska b*tch, now go home" . We led fellow squad mates to check out the goat.
Thank you Zipper for a fun 2 years where I spent it with great people. Thank you for the rush that I would get playing Dom and the chaos that kept me running. Repair, heal, pick up, shoot, knife, repeat. I LOVED it.

I used the INGAME Snap SHOT to take Pics of my char, kills some ribbones yep as in bones over 2K grims 200,000 + Killz and a fair 4.6+ kdr  I save the pic and still have many videos saved :) Along side a sting of 100+ Kill pics

This never happened in any game i was in before the server went down and I was PL SL in various, infact RAVEN got totally trashed, as PL my Bunker line didn't go down untl the last 8mins but yeah if U consider that RAVEN got our bunkers down in the end a WIN then i'm Wery Happy 4 U
Shame that to actually WIN u need to take the Objectives and Hold them, which yet again RAVEN failed BIG TIME , even when we DEFENDED your Dom Map, Shameful. But you still remember if your PMC themed suit and maps were orange, blue or green colored.
Just tell me color or how weapon seemed and i tell you
For example if you had hodie and most of you maps seems like rusty places, you were under SVER flag.
If you maps were mostly jungle like south america and they had cyberthemes bunkers and outpost, you were Raven.
And finaly green coloured and Alaska styled maps were for Valors.
