Look. Unless you are a Gallente Scout with Profile Dampening, snipers are really putting themselves at risk for being hunted down.
All you need is a vehicle with a militia scanner to hunt down a sniper. |

Just curious. What are you calling a proto sniper. All proto gear or just the rifle?
When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

He's got a point. Us snipers are annoying, what with our taking the time to find a position on the battlefield where we can do some good then carefully aiming at the members of the opposing team and squeezing the trigger (and letting go in the case of charge sniper rifles) then hoping that the hit detection registers the hit and that the target isn't in proto gear so we actually do a decent amount of damage as a sniper rifle should.

Snipers are easy to avoid. If not, just counter snipe. Just as easy.

Proto sniping is amazing. Just point and click on the people you see and they die. And then I wait for the inevitable logi to come and revive. Headshot the immobile logi, then blast the recently revived fellow.
I agree though. I hate being sniped too. But I still do it like 90% of the time. Pure profit. |
