Good morning all, as CEO I feel its my duty to explain a few details:
Yes we do acknowlege that the low general quality of the Dust playerbase is a huge problem for the game. I mean come on, this is by far the easiest FPS to get good at I've ever experienced. You think you got it hard that game? You should try fighiting a squad of my former corp "The Buterfly Effect" in MAG 2 years ago, this is nothing copared to the stomps we did in MAG.
Having such a large part of the community being completely clueless is the biggest problem we face, its not fun to play a game for 3 minutes and then having to fight snipers at the redline for 15 minutes....
So what do we do to prevent this?
Not all of us all the time but we've started to go in groups of 2 or 3 players rather than a full squad of 6. This is IMO tthe best sollution for all. It will normally prevent a total stomp of the other team, we lost several rounds yesterday vs stacked teams and its fun and challanging to play. With a squad of 6 its not normally "enough kills to go around" and it becomes boring really fast.
And about that paticular battle, lets look at the facts here for a minute:
1. There were only 2 of us. We went 28/6 and 22/6 - not exactly 50-2 that some of us do when we're talking about a stomp. 2. You had itsAdrenalina (now a Rainbow) on your team, he went 16-3 and came on top of the list and actually got out and did something. 3. Our team wasn't any good at all. We had one dude going 16-8 or 10-3 or something like that, the rest of my team went 5-4, 3-4 and those kinds of scores. 4. You had a stacked but even more useless team. There were one squad of Burgezz and one squad of Redstar on your team that ackomplished nothing at all. 5. You had how many? Was that 4 tanks around the redline? Doing what?
I remember that battle very well indeed. I sae Spiker4thedead and Takashiro Kasutken(?) AKA EnglishSnake on the other team and I had the great pleassure of sending him the message: "Go to that big red letter and press O".
Its a great shame when the (supposedly) good and experienced players are such big tryhards that they camp with tanks by the redline instead of givinig us a decent fight. I've seen these guys play since the very first month of my Dust career, its a shame they care too much about their own stats and nothing for win right infront of them.
And yes, its obviously the big bad tryhards of the Rainbow Effect who comes in with 2 players, fight a stacked team and wins the batlle, its definately our fault that the new players suffer. From now on we should perhaps go into battle completeky alone?
Would that be acceptable?
