If Mike Tyson Would tie his hands behind his back and let new boxers punch him in the face then boxing would be fun for all! |

So you think it is fair that a 12 year old 90 pound kid should fight mike Tyson. Do you think you will get new boxers this way? Is it fun or challenging for Mike? Maybe Mike could man up and handicap himself
One thing that is funny "fair" and a CCP game.
But no, it isn't fun for the 90 pound kid or Mike Tyson... THAT IS THE POINT.
And yes getting to box Mike Tyson would inspire a lot of up and coming boxers. Like the Proto wearing Mercenaries did in Chromosome... Inspired a new generation ;)
Some like that adversity and overcoming it. Some just want an "easy" mode and don't want to try. Or like the concept it may take 2-3 of you to take down a player whos been playing 2-3 times longer.
Regardless, If matchmaking has two full squads... And then continues to put them on the same side then 16 random squad-less people on the other...
Matchmaking and that entire word is a farce in DUST 514... because it doesn't exist to any normal logic. |

How about, instead of immediately putting you/your sqd into one side or the other, you are all just queued into the battle. Then, once it is filled, as you are being pulled in, the sides are chosen based on the squad sizes in the "overall" lobby.
So in the example with 2 full squads, 2 partials, and several noobs, then the 2 fulls go opposite, the partials are split up, and the solos are distributed afterwards based on SP/WP.
This would limit the chance of 2 full sqds against solo randoms, as well as the occasional 11v3 matches I have seen recently would be impossible.
This is what everyone thought it was gonna be.
Instead we got an even worse system creating even worse matchups, when a full squad is involved the matchmaking system craps all over itself and gets confused. |
