Used incorrectly or in unskilled hands it can easily become the reason you died. It should be the most powerful - but not the most versatile rifle type. CCP has focused a lot on rifle types. It would be nice to see them start upgrading some of the other weapon types that are really starting to lag behind.

Or something with 2-3x zoom What kills it for me is they seem so lackadaisical. No detail, just barren boring scopes. I love the smg pop up sites and the camera sight on the sniper rifle. (though I'm against the low zoom on Snipers scopes) they just feel like there was more thought put into them.

Anyone can spam R1 and get a lucky kill with it, but you would be better off just using an AR of RR in that case. The dmg done in a few seconds with the rail rifle is more.. Burst dmg is high with scrambler but its increasingly too much of a duck and run weapon, i never use it when I can pull out a Sb-39 or boundless and just melt heavys... Im not biased i have proto scrambler and both adv rail rifles and combat rifles.. I use the CR and RR 300x more than the scrambler Amarr logi > tank As long as its a bad aiming railgun with no defense mods. ;)

The burst from the CR is like 90 dmg which is just as much as 1 shot from a SCR.. Both the Carthum and the Viziam SCR make quick work of Armored suits, though i am having fun right now with the CR, i am starting to miss my (S)erial (C)reaming (R)ifle the kill Reload, kill reload routine gets old fast with the rapid expendure of rounds. But there nothing like melting a Gallogi with 1k EHP armed with a RR, while you have to do a 180 degree turn, charge, headshot followed up with a quick volley while my suit has 650 ehp. Which I agree with. However, a CR requires the same thing except if you suck at tracking an enemy your whole burst wont register. Anyway, without going into it too much, ScR is the most OP AR still, followed by the RR, then the CR, and finally the AR, but all of them are very low-difficulty weapons compared to most other weapons in the game. stlcarlos989 SVER True Blood Public Disorder. 1036	Posted - 2014.01.25 02:43:00 - [30] - Quote Its supposed to be 80% effective against armor but with prof 5 and 2 damage mods it still does 87 damage a shot to armor, it needs a serious damage reduction. 1 charge shot to take out all of the shields of ANY SUIT (except cal heavy next build) then a couple of single shots to finish the armor of any non proto heavy.
