I think this is all a good idea in theory, but it's really just a theory. Getting 20+ corps all on the same page is nearly impossible. Not to mention the huge ISK factor involved. RA has the funds to pay the the other big dogs to fight for them, or to not fight at all. I'm not saying this is fully impossible but it would be a hard task to setup, perhaps even harder to carry out.
Like many of the vet players posted in this thread the game has turned into a giant ISK party. They don't care about districts, they just want the ISK. I don't blame any of them. Most of them were already in corps that had their glory in PC and would rather ring for ISK now than have to strategically setup battles and wars.
If this actually goes down I wish both sides good luck. It'll be fun to watch it all unfold. |

Renegades Bane, I think you're better off just waiting till PC 2.0 where the battles will most likely be on a larger scale and more than MH will be open for the taking. What you're proposing so far will lead to what it always has, an endless cycle of rise and fall, some due to warring, some due to boredom and moving on to bigger, better games. Dust just isn't as fun right now to play hardcore. It's more casual now. Some people are set for life isk-wise, while others still play as hired mercs because of the expansion of the game. Also, once the player market place comes out, they'll have the isk to buy and trade officer weapons, which have all but been taken out, or at least, the salvage % have been lowered on them. That's all likely coming soon, as in, the coming patches later this year. |

i dont believe in the 'A team' 'B team' stuff. the people that play in matches i run are people i know, am confident in their roles being performed, and most of all works well with all other teammates. everyone that plays in matches i run follows orders and has the confidence in me to issue the right orders at the right time, maximizing chances for victory. afterward feedback is allowed and all my guys will tell me if theres something they noticed that we could improve upon, or remind me wasting an orbital on rampage campin on a hill just for shiggles might not be best used.
things like that. personnel is important, but 'a team' 'elite' etc are only monikers you all assign to other players. TEAM concept.
and fyi to OP....Team Players is not in Molden Heath...hasnt been in months and does not have the active personnel to even entertaing the idea of leaving our sandy beach resort with all-inclusive booze and thai hook....umm massage therapists

Lol this is defiantly not something I'm coming up with. I've talked to several people on my main and everybody and their mothers is thinking of a way to take down RA. Again, it's a call to arms. If theres a will...there's a way. Not my idea this new FEC. And you know who you are out there. The only way for your plans to work is to find the other corps interested in this for whatever reason they have and coordinate and offensive.

If its just district locking, or having all their districts on **** timers, that doesn't really justify the harshness to be honest. Lots of corps have been, and will continue to, lock districts as long as the ability to do so remains in the game and goes unpunished.
It seems like the cool thing to do now is hate NS because of some influx of threads on the forums. Doesn't make sense really.
Besides, they beat Godzilla... they basically won real life. |
