that's why when guys talk trash that shouldn't, you respond with a concord message.
Yup, then they ramble off the list of excuses as to you why you're a scrub, and only got lucky because of the following(all real messages I've received from people):
-You used proto gear. I could use it, but I don't think its right to use it in public matches at all.
-You play PC, and see pubs as a recreational gamemode? PC is bogus. I've never played it but it's just Proto gear and strafing.
-You don't care that you lost to my squad? Yes you do, because I think you do. I need you to.
-You're gun and gear is the ONLY reason you do any good. Use Basic gear and you'll be a scrub.
-Sure, blame the blueberries. You use proto, you should be able to win a match.
-I wasn't even trying bro, get good.
...and the list goes on and on. Mostly ignorant players who don't have a clue about the game, or their lack of skill in it. Kind of like that King Thunderbolt guy. He knows what he's doing overall, he's a nice guy; but put him up against a decent team, and he can't cut it. Players that don't even have proto gear, don't play at high levels, and don't just do well against MLT noobs are usually the brunt of the hatemailers.
I'd like to take a lot of time out your life by sharing 2 recent stories of hatemailers.
1. I was playing some former corpmates. They left BBW to pursue other options. Fine. Still friendly with all of them. They whipped out proto gear and were going ultra-tryhard mode. These are the caliber of players that need proto just to do mediocre and hold their own. After getting lit up by a Carthem, I decided to whip out my blacksuit. I DECIMATE them. It wasn't even fair. Went on a 16 killstreak against just them (it was my 3-man squad vs their 6-man squad for some serendipity reason). I out kill and out score them, by far. And the kicker was, I didn't even actually start playing the match until about 5 minutes in. I was fiddling with my vehicle fittings and calling them in and testing them in the redline.
Match ends, and all 6 of them send mail. Saying that my proto is a crutch, etc... They must have forgot they were using it first. I even had a heavy rail rifle user say that my SCR was the easiest noobiest gun in the game... Let me repeat that. A heavy frame; RR wielding f*ckhead said my SCR was noob. That's the caliber of player they were, and they tried saying I was the sucky one. Because I outkilled them when they were using HMGs as well.
The RR Heavy then challenges me to a Thunderdome. I told him K12 is a tad busy. So we can go into FW and do it right now. Then he accuses me of being a kb/m player and won't stoop to play me in a 1v1. At that point, I laughed and just stopped messaging with him. There was no convincing him, he was just so humilated that his chance to show the 'BBW killer' that he moved on and became a better player blew up in his face.
2. I was in a match that was terrible with lag. Rubberbanding every 20 seconds. The match finally ends, and I finish on top of the winning team with a WHOOPING 10/3... I get 3 mails saying that I'm reported to CCP for lag switching, blah, blah, blah... I try to explain to them that I was rubberbanding too, and that the game is just that garbagy... nope they felt the need to 'report' me anyway. Because apparently going 10/3 is clearly the sign of a lag switcher, I mean I think I even almost broke 1000WP...
