Okay, so I have enjoyed this game for a while. Now during a Factional match one of my team mates tank was hacked I then proceeded to attack his HACKED tank only to get kicked for friendly fire. Can someone please explain what this nonsense is about? |

Yup, happened here a while ago, just don't attack tanks thats been hacked... and don't destroy you're friend's tank.
Assassination is my thing.

Its a known bug. When you hack a vehicle it doesn't change who the owner is (if it survives the match it goes back into the original owner's inventory, for example), and the FF code just checks the owner. Dumb, I know. Whether it gets fixed in 1.8 probably depends on whether the code fix is trivial or not.

It's still registered as his in the code, that's how he gets it back if it survives the match. |

seems like a foolproof way to never lose a tank. Just hack one

This is a serious problem. One that CCP must fix. I suggest you post in the feedback forum. I am sure they already know of the issue, but the more people who complain about it, the higher a priority it will get.
