Joined a game deployed from the MCC called in the tank did a complete circle destroying every single turret on the map....then backing out of the red zone after killing the enemy's red-line turrets......i crossed the terminator line with 8 seconds left......but its still ticking.......wth....Activates Complex Fuel Inject.......POP! 500k isk gone.....(Throws Controller)........seconds later...."Fatal error please restart"

Why thank you darling :) Yes its the proto turret and with the damage mods its like 800.00 direct damage x12 is 9600.00 per volley....with proto reload its 6.7 seconds. I don't like rail and I have natural AV fear from before 1.7 so I stay away.

While I hate dieing to large missile turrets because it happens so fast, but I at least appreciate that it isn't a railgun, and requires you to actually be out on the field with me. Any tank driver who generally stays away from railguns is alright in my book, even if they cost me millions of ISK lol
On topic with this thread, since I've derailed it plenty....I ******* hate spawning into an uplink that's placed to trap you, forcing you to suicide.....such garbage. Not sure if you can still do it, but you used to be able to put uplinks in the green goo, causing people to just spawn and die lmao

I was killed while defending an objective and while spawning back in died to my own RE going off. I guess they saw them and set them off at just the right time to catch me.
At the start of the next match I spawned in to have a friendly tank drop on me. Thanks for calling it in on e default spawn point. I didn't want that proto suit anyway.

Not my own death, but too funny to go untold:
I was trying to sneak up on a really annoying proto heavy, who was basically slaughtering everything that came running at him, and my whole team seemed intent on padding his KDR.
So, as I peeked around a corner to see if a flank to NK range was realistic, I saw him standing there, probably feeling invincible.
He turned towards me, I heard his HMG spin up and WHAM! A supply depot was deployed right on top of him, instasquashing him.
I was quite pleased. If that wasn't a WTF moment for him, nothing will ever be. |
