This solves very little. Most people might act like they are above k/d but still 90% of the fun of fps games is killing folks and not being killed. Pitty WP for failing to kill vehicles won't help much. Sure ill end up higher on the score board, but if I cared about that Id just spawn a logi first abd get 2k free wp |

I already usually only die a couple times a match. Honestly, I like blowing up vehicles far more than killing infantry and still have no problem dropping most tanks. I'm just psyched that now when I spend an entire match neutrallizing a particularly good tanker or ADS pilot, my WPs might now reward my contribution to the team for that match.

I mean it certainly doesn't hurt. But I'm still not going to be thrilled when a tank gets away alive. AV games where you go 4-0(usually 4 scrambler pistol kills) cause you spent all match watching hardened tanks bolt into the redline are still going to be frustrating even if you get more WP
Maybe less so? But being area denial just isn't a very fun job. I don't want ccp to think the current waves of opportunity gameplay is fun just cause AV is getting more WP. Is not, it's like the least fun , but someone has to do it. |

I recall that post, I was enthusiastic then, too. It was a while ago and doesn't confirm it will be in 1.8, only that he would ask or "poke" about it. I thought the confirmation of it actually coming in 1.8 was noteworthy.
