I remember there was a great battle over this several months ago and one of the CPM said that skills did not affect militia gear.

@kanafchian: @ReesNoturana Poked Remnant - "They do. Although Dropsuit skills don't affect basic suits, so I can see where the confusion comes from."
I asked if weapon skills affected militia weapons.
