Iam one of the best logi in game and i was really exited with the new bonus,but with the equipment nerf i think i give up on logi if we have a respect. I have almost all equipment prototype and all of my 25M is in a support logi.My adv suit cost 120K and i have difficulty having isk but i give support like no one and i love my logi. But with the logi nerf plus the equipment nerf what the point keeping playing logi? 7 m repair tool wtf ccp? the new logi bonus plus the equipment nerf gonna make equipment less effective than now even with the bonus...It make no sens every other class is buff to kill,we are nerf to kill and ours equipment iis nerf as well.....so i was so happy with the bonus now i dont know if i still want to play this game what the point? btw i have ask my corp if they gonna stay logi 1 of 10 say no and it was before the equipment nerf post. ps sorry for my terrible spelling im **** lol minmatar logi at is finest~~~~~~~Edguy Quebec United,Ceo

Full support here, average about 2500-3500wp per match and i am excited as all h e l l forr this buff to "true" logis. This will give a level of diversity to the logi suits and create a need to run all 4 logis...not just minmatar or gallente. Thank you ccp. The SOLE reason I skilled into these dropsuits instead of the Ammar logistics is because I wanted an equal amount slots, and 4 equipment slots in total. I already have system hacking at level 5 so I don't really care about the removal of our hacking bonus. I'll get rid of some of my dual tanking abilities if it means I can equip more equipment to help my guys out. I may also need to bump myself down to a standard weapon, but I've gotten used to the standards so I won't be missing much besides a few more points of damage. I have all advance gear, but I'm still going repair tool level 5 to fulfill my suits niche, and to heal my heavy buddies as I originally intended. IF logis get a cpu/pg and slot reduction, base armor and shield reduction, combined with the new equipment junk, that new bonus won't do much. Can have an excess of cpu/pg all you want, if the slot number decreases, it won't do one bit of good. I wish they'd release the suit numbers for Assault and Logi suits. It's a trap! Gallente Logis got nerfed if that's the case, because they already had that bonus.

But gueess what. Logi now is way stronger then Logi in the past. and the equip nerf isnt even that bad. Little minor details changed. So what your Rep tool is slightly shorter ranged. big deal. Your squadmates all are being buffed to kill also, not just the enemy. and your heavies are giant damage sponges. In other words, THEY ARE ALL NOW ABLE TO PROTECT YOU BETTER. And Deal with the depressing nerf yals equipment got. At least you as a logi are getting the bonus. I a commando do not get that same bonus. so My repping is nothing compared to yours (if you Choose minmitar) and my ammo will run out faster then yours(if you go caldari) and my uplinks have far less then yours (if you are amarr). I dont use scanners anyways. Thats what our Assaults carry most of the time. So You are getting nerfed slightly, ME a commando who usually helps logis, now has it slightly harder then yal. You guys get multiple equipment slots and at least a bonus to 1 of your equips. i dont. I get 1 Equipment slot and 2 light weapons to help protect you when im not repping people or providing cover fire for people. (i may or may not have made many grammar errors and/or repeated myself, slightly exhausted atm) Blueberries are delicious and an essential part of my diet ;) Commando/Heavy Willing to PC for anyone for a low price

P.S the OP said he is the best logi in the game with 25million SP LOL - clueless :D Logi don't get points for nothing, they get points for doing their job and supporting the team and keeping the others alive so that they can do their own jobs. You're right, drop points and nanohives shouldn't be everywhere on the battlefield, they should however be in strategically appropriate points and moving with the flow of the battle. Logi aren't meant to get huge numbers of kills, they're a healer and support class, let the, get rewards for doing what they're meant to do. Assault and heavy are the primary damage dealers, they should be getting the kills. If logi's top the board in matches you play, that means they're doing their job and yours as well, because a logi gets +25 wp for a spawn and you get +50 wp for a kill. So to get a higher number of WP's that you they need 2 spawns for every one of your kills and they need to kill or hack objectives (in matches where that's relevant) or heal you when you get your ass killed. Oh, and just to be clear, I'm not a logi, I just appreciate the role they play in matches. When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.

You were clear in your post Edguy. There's just epic hate because of the whole Logi Slayer thing and that overshadowed the topic. At the end of Chromosome the Caldari Assault suit guys were getting the same treatment. Here is my take on the EQ changes: Reptool:The range reduction is going to suck. I'm just hoping CCP finally fixes the clunky lock on. Scanner: Snapshot scans was what we were originally showed in a preview. Playing at SciFi Ballerina got old quick. A Star Trek Tri Corder that required user interaction would have been better. Hives: Certain people have been exploiting them so we all get to be punished. Use of them will need to be more tactical. Uplinks: 3 second spawns are ridiculous. Amarr Logi will likely get a bonus to make it crazy again. The results feel more like a mixed bag. I think the positives are a little better than the negatives. Here, have some candy and a Like. :-) Forums > Game

I don't believe anyone has said a logi can't kill. Being a logi can mean different things to different people. I have various load outs from full healer, supplier, demolition, scan and support to combat medic. The point is I could do all of them well. With these changes I can do one equipment role well the rest I can be ok at. You can still fit out your logi suit to kill that's your perogative it just won't be as good as an assault at doing it. I will still try to help you on the field if we are on the same team in the future, maybe you just need a little logi love.

With the announcement of equipment nerf I have definitely made up my mind. If a respec is given I will no longer be a logi. Unfortunately CCP is ruining what I thought was one of the most balanced classes in the game. All they needed to do was buff the other classes to par with the logi, not nerf the logi and buff other classes. After over 10 years of game developing CCP has still not grasped the concept of balance.

Anyway, there do seem to be a lot of "best logis" running around. I doubt I am one of them, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night. Then you make a point about running uplinks on your assault for easy WP. Is the irony lost on you? Nevermind, irony is probably locked away with the grasp of strategic gameplay you seem bereft of.

I believe it is you who don't understand, the importance of the role is relative, currently logis using equipment aren't an advantage over anyone else, we just have a little more. Yes, equipment gets "nerfed" , but we can't have continual power inflation or things just get ridiculous. Equipment is less powerful but the logi role is more important since we now not only can do it more but we do it better, but it would be too much if we could do it all better.
