Wow, I just had an "aha!" moment, but did anyone catch on that the Scrambler Rifle's aperture opening is eerily similar to the inquisition torture device the pear of anguish?

It does have similarities indeed, however my SCR is a direct extension of my will, thus giving it human characteristics. As such, I like to have it reference something living. Enter every Predator movie ever made. When sh!t got real, they slowly remove their masks, open their mouths, hiss and begin the badassery.
Every time I charge up my SCR, this is what I visualize.

The Scrambler Rifle's aperture opening needs to slowly happen the longer you fire the assault scrambler rifle. Mechanics-wise it would not change anything, it would just look bad ass.
