When do I get my nova warhorse?

Yup - why not.

a 3m range - Cutting knives back to 2m (arm + blade length + game mechanics), but giving them a lunge, then making a sword with 4m range would be reasonable. - heavy attacks like the nova knife but main hand. More of a 1-2 hit kill maybe 2-3 for heavies and suited assault. Long sweeping attack range maybe 180 degrees or 60 depending on the speed between swings. I was thinking a long pause between swings like the charge shots in a sniper rifle.

It would be great defence weapon a commando. equipping it to combat shotgun, nova knifes and CQC.

It would be fun for assassin type scouts - who are right now using Nova Knifes a side arm as their main weapon.

Nova Shield - again great for heavies.

I was thinking off-hand. It would have a damage absorb. So like after 2000 damage the shield drops.

It would change tactics and allow CQC to be more fun and less spray your weapon down the hallway and hope.

The other option is Main-hand with the ability to use your off-hand weapon at the same time. Shield and pistol. Jus for fun I am thinking about this - My concern would be Submachine gun and shield would be a nasty combination to run into in CQC.

You could also have two shield types large and small. small shield would be easier to carry and absorb 1000 damage before pop. I would like to try a small shield and a nova knife - very Viking like LOL

Why can't we grab a fallen clone and use him as shield, it's in the lore.
