Not sure what needs explaining. 5 kills, 2 deaths so the k/d ratio is 5/2 = 2.5
Unless I'm missing something.

You're missing that there are no deaths on the K/D over time graph.

You're right, I hadn't noticed that, my guess would be either a bug or the kills somehow obscured the deaths.
