I think the only way for the heavy dropsuits to be weaponly effective agains HAVs are to be overpowered. Unless you have a scaling factor on the plasma cannon, because they have a volatile composition the increased size of vehicles allows more of the concoction to land.
Anyways I think a shield is in order
Im a Gallente/Minmatar guy but this shield is going to be of Amarrian design just because they where the first to make heavy suits and I think it'd be only reasonable that they'd be the first to advance it. Don't worry I have more shields for other suits and races can't leave out my homies.
Well the shield is most acclaimed for the speed of the nanites ability to seemingly outrun bullets, and the efficiency of the trio of nanites that work through group effort to make this a viable shield on the battlefield. This shield is made using prototype nanites and is only made up of them, the effective use of these two nanites allow heavier drop suits to reduce the damage of high, slow moving and explosive attacks, also using absorbed materials to repair armor. To increase the already formidable force of heavy drop suits.
The first nanite basophils uses optical sensors and a magnetometric beams and a close nit lace of millions of themselves to spot and recite information to set rallies for confirmation. Though coding they prioritize more dangerous projectiles.
For lymphocytes that produce small amounts of magnetic energy by using your shields electromagnetic spectrum (similar to hydroelectric dams), allowing them to vibrate causing scientific awe-inspiring amounts of heat at millions of microscopic points, spinning in a inward fashion causing energy to split to the nanites and dissipate from the sudden change in heat. Also, almost completely melting the material of most rounds
This is where phagocytes come in they allow a molten skin to form then harden. They use it to replace destroyed armor, they would otherwise melt from the heat if they didn't do the opposite of lymphocytes spinning outwards, attempt to remove any excess energy, and using a coolant system from their origin compartment zone freezing to -200 c speeding up their processing allow them to completely cover themselves in molt, tell other phagocytes, and start to return to their freeze zone in milliseconds, they react so fast they can uncoordinatedly absorb some of the explosion from proximity mines and sudden explosions, but are very slow moving. Since they are sometimes destroyed by the extreme heat they have a considerably higher count than the other two
Call it the beeshield? The immune system? I dunno i'm not sure how many basophils will be needed to effectively cover yourself in microscopic camera beams. Yes its a reference to white blood cells.
Standard
hp = 480 hp absorbs 51% of all damage taken increasing to 80% depending on the damage of the round with some exceptions. railguns not lasers and explosions if their absorb percentage is above lets say 50% they start repairing armor for every excess percent. In the event of a flux grenade and the shield goes down the nanites stay active for 10 more seconds slowly dying of without a power source while the boundless version starts eating you armor.
I think I covered anything Eyes open waiting for responses
wow that's a lot of words that might not be put into the game |
