I've considered that, but we're wearing air-tight suits with their own life-support systems covered in shields and armor; I don't see how poisonous gas would do anything. Miasma is poison (though not necessarily in all definition), but always in a gas state, so I still think its going to be something gassy like smoke. Just because it's a poison, doesn't mean it would b regular chemicals. It might eat away at the shields and armor. EDIT: Basically acid in gas form.
