Maybe full proto and a duvolle but I can't afford to run that. Any advice short of get a combat rifle or go proto?

The rail rifle is really not lacking in the firepower department so even if they're rocking a heavy shield tank you should kill them relatively easily. You don't even have to track them, let the AA do it's work while you pound that R1 button. Works against all CR models. Also, any RR at any range. I'd say the best bet is to get the drop on them first, if you can, with a Tac AR or a RR. If not, dash for cover and hope they don't have a client with a working Aim Assist. The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field: One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

Allow me to give you my secret: The MH-82 Heavy Machine Gun. The great equalizer. The Minmatar Typewriter. The MH-82, because the Boundless is for hipsters. With a fire rate of 2400rpm, you'll be able to give your enemy twice as many new assholes as the CR in the same period of time, making them significantly more aerodynamic, if you happen to be optimistic.

Spam equipment and make him lag, it shoots 3 shots really fast so as soon as the first stream goes move to the opposite direction you are moving and so on, close distance really quick and get in his face, might seem dumb since it's a cqc weapon but it messes with the bursting. Armor and Shields are not the same!

There are so many reasons why they beat you. They could have had better skills, or better position, or hell, just been a better shot, lower latency, a friendly sniper pegging you with a round and they finishing you off, you not dodging side to side, etc... @OP My personal favorite technique for those people who just seem to demolish you... Remote Explosives Get into a firefight and drop back in to cover with a sliver of hitpoints remaining. When they come in to finish you off blow them sky high. Also, never fight on their terms. If you can't get the jump on them, circle around and flank them. Pop in and out of cover, lead with a grenade, etc... All sorts of tactics you can employ to give you an edge. To the OP's question I'd say SCR or RR at range. I support SP rollover.

To the OP's question I'd say SCR or RR at range. If you guys say so. I keep my sensitivity at 100 and 100 on hipfire and ADS so AA is pointless, thus I keep it off. Turning it on just makes it hard to stay on target when multiple enemies are grouped up as it usually magnetizes slightly to a person behind the target. At 100 and 100 it's severely difficult to correct that in the middle of a firefight. And when testing AA last week in ADS, I noticed no magnetization at all unless there are multiple overlapping targets. Edit: Does AA work better at lower sensitivities or something? It works like a charm. Alternatively, I grab an Assault Rifle, or Assault Rail Rifle (Depending if they are shield tanking or armor tanking), stack shields again, and dance with them with my mobile minnie assault literally in their face. Moral of the story is, every jackass who plays today armor tanks and uses an anti-armor weapon with severe penalties against shields and is slow as dirt... So do the opposite and you'll do just fine.
