How do you beat it? With an ScR. Any ScR. The CR has pretty much no aim assist while the ScR has very strong aim assist, so charge a shot and wait for the enemy to come around the corner. You don't even have to track them, let the AA do it's work while you pound that R1 button. Works against all CR models.
Also, any RR at any range. You hold the trigger down and move left and right in various patterns while the CR has to constantly tap R1 to place shots while strafing.
Buff passive scans & fix TTK!

I turned it on for a match and I couldn't have missed a shot if I'd tried to. Imo the CR is one of the weapons that benefits most from AA. SCR gets a nice buff too. To the OP's question I'd say SCR or RR at range.
If you guys say so. I keep my sensitivity at 100 and 100 on hipfire and ADS so AA is pointless, thus I keep it off. Turning it on just makes it hard to stay on target when multiple enemies are grouped up as it usually magnetizes slightly to a person behind the target. At 100 and 100 it's severely difficult to correct that in the middle of a firefight. And when testing AA last week in ADS, I noticed no magnetization at all unless there are multiple overlapping targets.
Edit: Does AA work better at lower sensitivities or something?
