Currently holding a rep tool is the only way to see an allies HP unless you look directly at them, this leaves you defenseless and there is a 1-4 second switch to and fire time if you try to rapidly equip your weapon to fire. My request: -Keep the HP viewing the same for other suits -Logi exclusive ability to see all allies HP in a certain radius as long as the logi has a rep tool in an equipment slot This would prevent a lot of unnecessary deaths, and get logis focused on active support instead of slaying. And if required to while checking on their allies a logi can fend off their enemies, instead of being caught using a rep tool as a main weapon.

This and allow a quick tap change between weapon and Rep Tool (like Assaults can do between their two weapons). |

I think it'd be better just to show the health bars when you have a rep tool. Not just in you hands but on your fitting. Regardless of what suit you're using. |

Logi suits are specifically made to aid in logistical purposes such as repping. Giving everyone the same bonus because of a tool, and not a suit doesn't make sense. Suits are supposed to be unique, and i have to say (IMO) if you have a rep tool on any suit but a logi all you're doing is farming WP. Logi suits should have unique bonuses to all eq,just as assaults to weapons. Your idea is based on tool bonus (bad idea),my idea is based on a suits bonus (good idea).

I see nothing wrong with this and it makes perfect sense! +1

once the armor's HP of a team mate is under 70% (with rep tool in equipement) the blue dot on the minimap simply become a rep tool icon.
and for the bonus, the minmatar logi's will get a rep tool reach and repair bonus for the 1.8

When u Make that thread about quick swap, it should swap between your gun and whatever you equipped prior. Or swap between primary and a certain equip slot |

I don't really see it as a bonus more as better usability.
It doesn't make rep tools more powerful it just makes them easy to use.
Give logi suits more interesting, and powerful, bonuses.

At this point no suits have unique abilities. Some inherent abilities like built-in armor rep or heavy weapons slots, or the Dropsuit Command skill bonuses that are exclusive to each suit, are variations on the statistics of that suit, and not an additional class or ability.
Being able to mix and match various equipment, modules, and weapons on whatever suit you want, limited by the slots and cpu/pg, allows players to experiment and try different roles on the combat field according to their play style. While logi suits may be designed to be the support role, saying that only logis should be able to heal others would limit creativity and stop players from trying to be healers in assault or scout suits. That may sound dumb to you, but maybe those players could put together something you hadn't thought of.
Furthermore, introducing suit-specific abilites would drive this game more towards the class-based gameplay of other FPS games, and standing apart from the others on the market helps keep Dust distinctive and interesting.
Being able to see allies' HP without having the rep tool active is a good idea, though. |

I agree that the use of a tool should not be restricted to one type of suit, but because of their "specialized training", Logis should be a bit more effective and efficient in the use of those tools - just like the Assaults will be better with their weapons than anyone else who could still use the same weapon. |
