i recently had a decently fun ambush match, my team were all infantry and the enemy team had 2 tankers supporting them.
me and a blueberry had standard assault swarms and we killed them a few times which was very fun, surprisingly we won barely with 4 clones left, but apparently we unknowingly helped our team win a match.
i didnt even try focusing on the enemy team
this also kinda proves a few things that tanks aren't invincible and even swarms can handle them, but you need at least 2 people to kill 1 tank.

That's good to hear. These are STD tanks we're dealing with now (despite the price tag). It was getting a little nuts hearing "if you don't have protoswarms don't bother". Seriously, tho did you need to do anything tactically? Time shots, sneak a RE in occasionally?

they arent invencible come on, who is saying that
they just run like rats or use hardeners so they dont die so easily like you say, you two had good lucky, i've been trying with 2 more guys to kill a damn tank and he ran to redzone with hardeners |

Such a shame that one match is up against the countless matches where tanks have dominated in all game modes. |

lol, not really we mainly stuck with our team half the match and then me and that blueberry tried going to higher ground for a better view near the pipes while our team were fighting the enemy infantry.
it was pretty fun and the tankers were pretty average, not the typical proto stomping tankers we usually meet.
they kept running away but we still managed to kill each of them 2 times

i run ambush constantly and i dont get too many tank stomps like before.
its usually every 1-3 games when i see a tank or more, but they are usually either easy to kill with the team helping or hard to kill if the team is alraedy losing.
generally i win 75% of my ambush games since i am usually the main reason we win

If they're getting killed by just 2 standard swarms they were below average tankers in what were likely poorly fitted tanks.
CCP: Is it the most asinine way possible to do this? Yes. Then that's how we're doing it.

they were actually pretty decent tankers, but they weren't as smart as usual tankers because they kept running away when there hardeners fell every so often, but 1 was a gunnlogi and the other was a madruager

You used teamwork your not supposed to do that
You used swarms, they are supposed to be 'UP'
You did that in lolambush your doing it wrong you should have died a millions times
