I think people that AFK have neither a girlfriend or a life. What they have is a PS3 or two and a PC, so they go AFK and then come onto the forums to tell us that they are banging Rosie and her 5 sisters to sound cool. Which is more sad than just saying that I have multiple devices and if you saw me AFK in the MCC it is because I was playing a different character/game but still wanted the points from it. Stop lying. Be truthful with others or you will never find the truth in yourself. |

When I was a teenager the internet to me was going out and conversing with people in person at different places, or being tied to a curly cord from the anchor on the wall. Our facebook was the bathroom walls and our twitter was the things we yelled after a neighborhood vs. neighborhood fight.

I was pointing out in a flippent manner that you clearly implied that someone who has no girlfriend was something that could be used as a way to make judgments about their behavior. You correlated 'no girlfriend' with 'AFKing'. There is no correlation or causal link there. It was a silly thing to say don't you think?
No, I was commenting on the fact that most people that say they AFK also say they were throwing a bone to their girlfriend at the time and that is why they AFK. You and I both know that is just a false statement, so I said my piece about it. |

And you don't AFK so it was not directed towards you nor should you take offense to it. That statement was directed specifically at those that have made those claims about why they AFK and why they support it. I hope that I offended them because that was the purpose of my statement. If you want to jump on their bandwagon and fight for them go for it. I find their cause meaningless and unsubstantial in the greater good of the game and their reasons to be not based in reality. That is just me though, I am sure since you want to champion for them that you find all of their claims based in hard factual evidence. Because I am sure that Mr. TechMechMeds is actually "banging his gf" like he said in this thread right, right? And just like all the other people in threads about AFK that are doing the same such acts... |
