Reading is also supposed to make you understand sentences.
It didn't help you much. |

Cat Merc wrote:So I just sneaked up on a Rail Tank.
Three AV grenades to the back, a couple of swarms, one more swarm and... wait... did it stop shooting? Oh no, no no no, **** no! *Sigh*
He just got out with his heavy suit and rail rifle, and just gunned me down, the defenseless AV person. That's rather broken isn't it?
Sigh... AV is such a thankless job, and even if you do everything you can to make sure the tank dies, the user will just jump out and kill you.
I believe the proper responses are
"You have a CQC sidearm, get gud."
"Call in your tank to fight, HTFU."
"Coordinate with more then one AV to counter a single man, stop being skillless"
Then tell everyone else they need to use more tactics with more teamates to prevent them from soloing the entire battlefield for 15 minutes.
It must be nice to forgo the burden of common sense. |

Its supposed to murder infantry. /me will ignore this stupid post and hopes that the next will be a decent one Yeah, but its amazing how often this crops up in tank threads, and how many people actually believe it is a valid game balance argument.
Ahhh, i see what you did there. |

Cat Merc wrote:Rusty Shallows wrote:Cat Merc are you insinuating that in order to pilot a HAV the operator must wear some kind of super squishy light frame?
Just the thought gave me the evil chuckles. Well, maybe. Or maybe just force them to go down with the ship if they're being badly badly damaged.
I prefer that when someone enters an HAV, they can no longer leave it until popped or go to a supply depot to change.

I prefer that when someone enters an HAV, they can no longer leave it until popped or go to a supply depot to change. Even just a 5 seconds timer before they can get out would be fine.
But when would the timer start and end? as soon as you enter? As soon as you press the exit button? What if you pressed the exit button and changed your mind before the 5 seconds kicked you out? |

Ah yes. yes. That makes sense and seems a plausible solution. |

3: Where's the fluxes, and RE's?
So to effectively kill the tank in his scenario he should have brought AV nades, flux nades, swarm launcher, RE's then snipe a Heavy suit in the head with a SCP while strafing (since standing still to get a good shot against a railgun is not a viable option) , or somehow use willpower to force the bullets of the SMG to fire in a tight dispersion?
I see your logic there. |

I see your logic there. No, he should have brought AV nades, flux nades, swarm launcher, plasma cannon, forge gun, RE's, then sniped a Heavy suit in the head with a SCP while strafing.
Let's see the strategies for using a Sica to take down an HAV in that situation :
Line up the reticle then fire.
Pilot jumps out, his weapon fires uselessly against you.
Line up the reticle then fire.
I feel humbled in the presence of such skill.

I see your logic there. Wut? lol dumbass, RE's, fluxes, nanohive, srwarms, a SMG, and a LAV is my AV fit. works everytime. There's other ways, but I don't feel like going away from this, as it's not broke. Maybe try being more creative?
Perhaps that sentence would work better to prove your point then "Where's the fluxes and RE's?".
Reading your mind is not a skill i own. |
