I hit cap every week and up to this month I was running a 30 day active booster because I used to play 4+ hours a day until the tank spam made me play less. Tanks sucked the fun out of the game. I am retired at the ripe old age of 34 and I can do whatever I want. I go to college and play video games whats not to love TANK514 another sign of cancer in the game

This is no taking in SP gained for Omega boosters or triple or double SP events. Since active omega's were not introduced till just a few months ago and passive only came in around uprising it would be hard for someone to top 40Mil. Of course this is not taking into account SP gained after reaching cap so if someone plays a lot after hitting cap they could easily be over 40Mil SP. Once CCP is finished fixing all the mistakes made with Dust's early development and starts adding meaningful content and ways to interact with EVE players, then perhaps this game's population starts to get a bit of a kick. I've never missed the cap for any of the special triple or double sp events. I even hit the cap on Wednesday during a double sp event and CCP reset the cap the next day. I've been running actives since forever...my last passive was ended in dec and along with the regular passive booster, I had about 3 or 4 passive omegas running (can't remember if it was 3 or 4). And I don't have nearly close to 60. Granted, I don't play as much as I did when I started....and at the very top of the leaderboards holds guys with 3x as much wp as I do. But they still can't be anywhere close to 60. I don't even think 50 has been reached...****, if someone has 45, I'd be really surprised. weRideNDie2getha since 2010

Last year for Fanfest they had Omega's on the market for half price. $18 for a 30 day passive. Ran them for 150 days. It covered the reduced playtime in the Summer when running a PS3 in the heat is bad. Although after they expired the withdrawals hurt. Not sure if I'd do it again. I saw a vid from Gamespot about the psychological angle of the business model. Apparently there is a part of the brain that says "no, don't spend money on this game!", a voice of reason... but actually over time this lil voice of reason becomes less and less and before you know it you have 6 months of active and passive Omega's running. It's all about wearing the resilience of this voice down until you cave. Sneaky bastards. I think I'll get 3 months of each...I cut out the tounge of this lil voice in my brain, filled its mouth with sawdust and stiched it shut with barbed wire. I'm getting my ******* booster!
