I personally think that killing my tank should take intelligence (very rare here) and reasonable SP investment.
IE, someone with an advanced swarm who knows their **** (choosing the right time/angles to fire, and stuff like that) should be able to kill me.

You see that's actually they exact opposite of what I think. Yeah tanks should kill other tanks, but currently tanks are far too powerful for their own good.

Yeah, I was butthurt when my suit got nerfed about 8 months back. Guess we had it coming; Scouts were kinda OP back in Chrome. Not even close to as overpowered as Tanks are right now ...

Considering that I always the best HAV that I could make meta wise, These 2 has always been true for me. ANd yes, if we square off, and you got a rail with a damage mod, but that pos costed you under 100k, and I got a Maddy costing 300-500k, I use all kinds of techniques, and you're able to sit there, absorb several million SP worth of training into skills and several hundred hours into HAV fighting, and still without trying, you can kill me? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no. MLT HAV's are OP, and eventually, they will get nerfed, as well as their turrets and modules. I bet you they will. Don't worry your petty ass though, SOONtm (probably in about 20 years) they'll have somewhere for you to use that POS in a training area or something.

tanks are harder to kill which is as it should be.
but AV did take various nerfs with this last patch..... so I'm just waiting for the return swing of the Pendulum.
Cheap tanks, that is the problem atm.... i can fit a MLT for less than a proto suit, and i can only guess that it is so, because CCP want data. My ADS costs more than my Maddy!!!
Tanks are not invincible, i'd say they are working as intended. The RES mods create extremely tough vehicles for a limited amount of time. Choosing when to attack, and trying to create situations where the tank pilot overextends are currently integral to the process of taking out the tank.
The rebalance is in all probability on its way, but hopefully its not gonna be a big swing.
incidently: my metric for OP is the general arrogance of the player base in question.... getting tanks to overextend is sometimes too easy.

Wait, if MLT HAVs are overpowered, wouldn't vehicles with PRO modules be "God-Mode" by comparison?

You would think so, but considering that MLT gives near identical performance, you'd be wrong.
I inadvertently switched the proto rail on a fitting of mine to an MLT one; I only realised when it dealt an unusual amount of damage to a turret. Not when I was AVing.

If something has "near identical performance" as something else, then that makes them both overpowered by extension simply because they practically perform the exact same way.

I tank, cap tanks at 3 per team. Keep everything else the same other than more cpu for large rail guns.
What's not to love about the scrambler rifle, the thing is a precision weapon and at the same time a shotgun.
