Also I believe the word you're looking for is "sense" instead of "since".
You're welcome.
Not really a gas perse. More like a jet of ionized particles/atoms.

calvin b wrote:What does not make since to me. This is not a QQ or rage thread it is I cant believe they think this should be a reality in this game thread. What does not make sense.... The fact that Nova Knifes can cut through multiple layers of armor plating and be the length of a butter knife The nova knives use a layer of elctromagnetic coils that expel super heated plasma from the blades tip in the djrection of the swipe. What does not make sense..... The fact the laser rifle works backwards, that the further the target is from you the more damage you do but the closer they are the weaker the beam is The laser uses a fixed focusing laser to give room to the continous fire assembly, this creates a sweet spot at 80-90m where the weapon is usable, for more info consider any physics text book at greater than high school levelWhat does not make sense.... The fact that we are in the future and we are still using Shotguns, assault rifles, or any other weapon that uses gun powder Only minmatar weaponry use anythi g even remotely akin to gunpowderWhat does not make sense.... The fact our tanks still use tracks Tracks are cheap reliable and all terrain, its pointless putting 2 billion isk hover tracks on a tank that's gonna be blown up with 20mins of being deployedOk I have given some examples what are yours???????? Edit: Just started a new college class and my brain is fried, excuse me for I misused a word. The correct word I was meant to write is sense.

Read the descriptions of the weapons before you make yourself look silly on the forums.
The AR and Shotgun do not use gunpowder. The AR encapsulates a hot plasma lance in a shell of metal that breaks apart once it hits a target, IIRC, it propels its projectiles using gas.
The shotgun uses energy to spin plasma in a cyclotron before it emits it at a high velocity in a spread pattern akin to a shotgun.
No gunpowder has been used.

Nanohives should be replaced with resupply beacons; after you drop one a high altitude dropship (too high to be seen) drops an ammo crate into the beacon. You then have to actively access the crate (like a short hack) at which point you get a full ammo top up.
Drop uplinks should be beacons as well: you drop onto them like you drop out of the MCC.
Supply depots should be accessed in the same way as nanohives for ammo. If you want to change suits you should "enter" the depot, and changing suit should take a few seconds.
You should spawn inside CRUs, and exit through a door. If the door is camped, or there is another player blocking it, tough.
And yes, I realise that this means that hives and uplinks will only work outdoors.
No offense gyro, but those are terrible ideas, the nano hives work using the same tech as repair tools. A nanohive contains a large pool of nano-bots, when a user enters within the range of the hive an instruction set is retrieved, this tells the nano-bots how to forge the required munitions, these munitions are flash-forged directly into your ammo pouch, it's also why tanks are deployable from the MCC not from the warbarge.
