Actually I believe the shotgun and assault riffle are a plasma/gas propellant weapons.

Also I believe the word you're looking for is "sense" instead of "since".

Not really a gas perse. More like a jet of ionized particles/atoms.

Charged plasma munitions are pumped into a cyclotron that converts the plasma into a highly lethal bolt before it is expelled from the chamber. Upon impact with the target, the magnetic field surrounding the bolt collapses, venting superheated plasma onto the contact point.

What does not make sense.... The fact that Nova Knifes can cut through multiple layers of armor plating and be the length of a butter knife

The nova knives use a layer of elctromagnetic coils that expel super heated plasma from the blades tip in the djrection of the swipe.

What does not make sense..... The fact the laser rifle works backwards, that the further the target is from you the more damage you do but the closer they are the weaker the beam is
The laser uses a fixed focusing laser to give room to the continous fire assembly, this creates a sweet spot at 80-90m where the weapon is usable, for more info consider any physics text book at greater than high school level

Only minmatar weaponry use anythi g even remotely akin to gunpowder

Tracks are cheap reliable and all terrain, its pointless putting 2 billion isk hover tracks on a tank that's gonna be blown up with 20mins of being deployed

Edit: Just started a new college class and my brain is fried, excuse me for I misused a word. The correct word I was meant to write is sense.

Nanohives, drop uplinks, supply depots, CRUs. Any situation where stuff appears out of nowhere.

Nanohives should be replaced with resupply beacons; after you drop one a high altitude dropship (too high to be seen) drops an ammo crate into the beacon. You then have to actively access the crate (like a short hack) at which point you get a full ammo top up.

Drop uplinks should be beacons as well: you drop onto them like you drop out of the MCC.

Supply depots should be accessed in the same way as nanohives for ammo. If you want to change suits you should "enter" the depot, and changing suit should take a few seconds.

You should spawn inside CRUs, and exit through a door. If the door is camped, or there is another player blocking it, tough.

And yes, I realise that this means that hives and uplinks will only work outdoors.
