Since = time reference
Sense - cognition / logical

They should strive for it if they can
calvin b wrote:What does not make since.... The fact that Nova Knifes can cut through multiple layers of armor plating and be the length of a butter knife
I agree
calvin b wrote:What does not make since..... The fact the laser rifle works backwards, that the further the target is from you the more damage you do but the closer they are the weaker the beam is
its not backwards, there is an optimal distance if the function is similar to a magnifying glass.
calvin b wrote:What does not make since.... The fact that we are in the future and we are still using Shotguns, assault rifles, or any other weapon that uses gun powder
they don't use gunpowder, but I agree what it is a bit of ww2 in space

Not sure if I agree with this one, the speeders obviously hover, so it might be a weight issue, which is something I can understand

I also forgot to address your base question, so my apologies on that
1) Why do we carry two nova knives? Piercing is more effective than slashing when using a knife, which piercing is much more difficult with two knives.
2) The idea the 4 factions reward everybody the same regardless of performance
3) The idea that dust players can be mercs despite the fact that we were created by the 4 factions which should of been able to control our clone supply, thus making us dependent
4) Attacking our individual clones vs attacking the storage facilities of our clones

I mean the production facilities that are aligned with a particular faction in general which produce the bodies which we bring to the MCC (or for EVE pilots)
Essentially similar to how WW2 attacks were made on industrial cities, the MCC is just a transport of military supplies, I'm talking about hitting the source.

Eve doesnt use newtonian physics, hell HAV could drive on barrels of ******* and it would make sense in this universe, tank treads is just a lack of imagination in the designs, hell the speed they go at they should all be hover tanks anyways.
I know EVE spaceships use submarine logic (which contradicts our current understanding of space flight), thus track tanks might just be shortcuts to game design, but the idea that weight/energy can effect function is not totally outside the realm of possibilities here. Similar to how scaling down real world rail tech is currently difficult without it wearing out to fast, hover technology might have weight/power efficiency problems to where its just more reliable to have tracks.
Not life or death just stating that there could be a potential feasible limitation, but you are probably right.
