keep in mind the LR is supposed to be the Amarr equivalent of the sniper rifle and those slaving scum are second in range only to the Caldari. They may be bat-sh#t crazy, and their Empress may be a psycho she-devil, but they are NOT cultists. Cults are of small size, and the Amarr Empire/Religion is the largest religion in New Eden. Calling them a cult is like calling Catholicism a cult. It just doesn't make any sense.
(I personally believe the Empress is actually the most level-headed and benevolent leader in New Eden, and the Amarr Religion, while a little (a lot) harsh, is actually pretty cool and reasonably sane.)

Not necessarily. The laser is focused further out, causing it to do massive damage at a certain distance, but substantially less at every other distance. This is because the photons are tightly packed together at the ranges of 60-80m causing them to "puncture" the drop suits defences better while at that range.

The amarr aren't batsh!t crazy, they just think they're better than you - and they have a fair number of reasons to believe it too. The 'slaves' have the opportunity to convert which does better the lives of their progeny and eventually allows for full integration into the empire as 'first class' citizens. If you want to see *real* crazy you need to run afoul of the sani sabik cults - colloquially known as the 'blood raiders' for their propensity to capture and eventually murder whole starship crews for nothing more than their blood. Or you need to wander into the path of one of the children of Sandha Kuvakei, I was around when Sansha and his nation revealed themselves to the universe again.
Lol. Yeah, the Amarr religion looks downright peaceful if you compare it to those two. They take insane to another level.

Thank you. I've been waiting for my precious Lazor to be fixed since Chromosome ended, the ScR and Plasma Cannon have been nice, but the Laser just looks and feels so good. I can't wait!

I personally think the RR needs a nerf in range. It can rip face off at 70m away. Thats AR with sharpshooter 5 back in the day.
You guys remember that? I know I sure do. The nerf on RR range should help the laser and the AR at the same time.
The range game has changed dramatically since chromosome... Remember how AR rounds would just dissapear completely after about 45m and do NO damage? Also, the current rifles wouldn't have a hard time competing with the old Viziam, they might even outperform it. Power Creep. Bringing the Laser Rifle to its former stats would be a start, if we want it to ever be competitive again...
