As far as I'm concerned you owe people their AURUM, ISK, and LP back for every death that is caused from your game malfunctioning.

THEAMAZING POTHEAD wrote:true, i suppose a few hundred AUR would cover AUR, but tank and dropship insta deaths would add up to probably 30mil. Falling through the map, totally random and instant suicides for no reason(seriously, was driving on a road in a tank, when all of a sudden i just blew up out of nowhere from full HP, as suicide, i thought it was gonna say killed by admin), the whole slew of RDV malfactions, etc.
Imagine if they had to refund AURUM... then they'd have this game fixed in a week.
Ever notice the AURUM system in this game has worked flawlessly in this game since day-1? Everything else has a bug or glitch, but not the AURUM market. And, if there is something wrong with it, they shut down those servers so fast and fix it ASAP.

1. EULA is not a contract nor agreement, especially when there is not exchange (i.e.- free game).
2. All consumers have the right not have good or service refunded if it doesn't function in the matter made apparent by agreement (i.e.- psychological contract or written).
I've read the EULA (during the whole BPO QQ). Nothing in it can or does sanctify the game from being able malfunction more than a reasonable manner. And judging by its software counterparts, you would have to say that the software made from the Unreal Engine for DUST 514 malfunctions beyond a reasonable rate.
Now, I know they won't refund anything. And they'll probably ban me or talking bad about them like they did 2 weeks ago, because they are unprofessional like that. But, its just something to throw out there. Because they aren't held accountable, nor do they hold themselves accountable to anything. Hence their string of failures in developing anything; save EvE.

But our BPO's are safe, right?
Couldn't tell you. Anything they take away that was purchased with monies needs to be and has been refunded, everything, nope.
Besides, they only discontinued the BPOs because it was a finite source of revenue for the game. AURUM Boosters and equipment run out and need to be replaced, thus continuing a revenue stream. BPOs didn't. That's why they discontinued them.
