It's too low.
I can kill 7 Gunnlogis in one round, loose one of mine for a net loss.
Pushing the isk rewards for killing tanks up would also get more AV people out there. It's more profitable to kill dropsuits then tanks. |

It's kinda hard to motivate people by giving them a reward for something that rarely ever happens.

i agree, i killed 8 or 9 tanks in a pub match with my 350k gunnlogi and only made enough from the match to buy the gun =/ after i lost the tank at the end to a jihad jeep

...then Militia tanks, yes. Those are another issue. A well fit Gunnlogi or Madrugar is 400,000 +/- isk. |

I dunno. My Tanks are 240kish. I make between 240-300k per match so I generally go positive. Madrugar so maybe it is different for Gunloggis.

THIS IS EXACTLY IT.
If you run ADV-PROTO stuff and destroy MLT tanks there is no much gain on it....
IMO, AV'ers should get a higher isk reward for killing tanks, not other tanks...
GIVE ME A RESPEC CCP.

On a side note, when infantry run their best fits in a pub they expect to lose ISK. 2 deaths = ISK negative.
Why do tankers expect to run their best fits and not lose ISK? |

It's a choice ISK or KDR positive for a tanker.
Much like life low risk equals low reward. If you are only hunting cheap tanks, not gaining objectives, supplying hives, links or revs then your WP will be lower and get less.
My scout/logi fits go KDR negative but cash flow positive as i support my team and cause are denial (REs, flanking, distracting, pulling out a shotgun, destroying opposing links). I don't expect to go KDR positive, be immune to death and make a million isk
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.
