Before I proceed, I would like to give an except from Empress Jamyl,
"The Empire does not hate these people [the cloned immortals] because they have found themselves turned from God's light. We have never hated those who have fallen. Instead, we embrace those who have tumbled to the darkest depths and lift them up. It is a long process, but one the Empire is willing to undertake to save these poor souls from those who would so callously discard them."
- Empress Jamyl
Please, fellow immortals, treat this study and discourse with respect.
Now onto my perspective of this except from the scripture. This story speaks of the of the sacred bond and obligation held between those of God, for we are all God's children thus we are all brothers and sisters under the lord. Here the ultimate sacrifice is portrayed, teaching us that there is no sacrifice too grand to help one another. We must free humanity from the beasts of darkness and false word, even if unprepared. For God is our sword, God is our shield.

Templar Yassavi continues after hearing Kador speak,
For we are never truly unarmed with God at our side. And in that, the courage also signifies our faith. And in faith, we endure forever. Not just as an individual, but as a united family under God!

True Adamance wrote:Maikyl Metsar wrote:"Those are both excellent observations. Indeed under the Almighty we are all united in purpose as a family. And sacrifice is sometimes necessary to protect those we cherish. In this spirit of selfless sacrifice do we display the true nature of our humanity. I have always found it interesting in this verse that Garum is armed with a sword while Zakara is unarmed. We know so little about these two brothers that I sometimes ponder on the meaning of this. Was Zakara markedly younger than Garum? Or had he lost his weapon early in the conflict? Perhaps he was not even a warrior by trade. " "Indeed. So then as you say it is perhaps a celebration of the sacrifice shown here by Zakara, that he would sacrifice God's ultimate gift that his brother might live.... could this not then apply to us immortals as well?" He considers this statement carefully. Kador had always felt rather conflicted about being, for the most part, immortal. "If Zakara would give the ultimate sacrifice of his life, and everything that he is, as a mortal, is it not fitting that we apply that same tenets to our own existence? That without sacrifice, something we should celebrate rather than mourn, no true victory will be attained. " "When we took up the implant we didn't sacrifice just one life, but many lives so that our people may lives. For the remainder of the physical world we have damned ourselves to the vicious cycle. It is a sacrifice far greater than that of Zakara, but one that no one in the days of St. Junip could of possibly foretold."

Templar Yassavi looks at Kador, feeling he has explained this many times before
"There is no sacrifice of the soul. While our soul moves like a nomad from body to body, that does not make us immortal in this physical world, for the physical world itself is not immortal. The outsiders call us immortals, but they that does not mean that we are. When the physical world ends, so will our constant rebirth in new clone bodies. And at that point, our soul will be judged before God and, if he finds us in his favor, welcomed into his presence forever. So, again, our souls were never sacrificed as they are still subject to the same conditions as everyone else's soul."
