He's trolling. Yes, we're hoping for a mid February / March release for 1.8. The Dev teams are still working on the patch, and generally things are "locked in" for around a month before the patch goes live on TQ. I'll keep you guys updated when I know more specifics.

Aside from Arma there really aren't any good shooters out there. CCP makes a mold breaking game that takes time you all cry. While I like your name and totally concur with the implied sentiment I must say your discontent and indeed derogatory tone is both unwarranted and unfounded.

Though I myself do not advocate the notion that game design should be based purely on anecdotal bias recieved from the dark underbelly of player opinion, it is however a strong tradition in doing just that, CCP encourages it.

Though it may not reflect a direct connection to the game designers that is genuine as much of what goes on here is created and nurtured by ccp, it still reflects the illusion of such a connection, and even that your thought may count for something, how can an over emotional, juvenille, spoiled playerbase turn away from such a grandiose notion as their opinion having influence?

Ultimately this is an outlet, sometimes through constructive forethought, other times through violent rampant criticism and critiques, and sometimes merely to displace animosity toward an individual or corp, also to merely troll as that is the game for many, and every now and then to be vindicated, praised, and admired by others.

Patches cost money to get approved by Sony, also includes a lot of additional work. Mid-February isn't that far off. Mid-March would kind of be rough. I think we can hold on until 1.8

CCP and the DEVS are doing an AWFUL job

The game is ridiculously unbalanced, we have things like fatal errors, snagging on terrain, no matchmaking, no NPE still missing racial parity of even the basic suits we had in BETA (1 Heavy Suit still pffft) , bugs bugs everywhere, lag lag everywhere.

I've played Alpha's that run smoother and are more fun than this pile of ****.

It's about time CCP and the DEVS got off their lazy arses and actually started doing their jobs properley because what we have now is an absolute disgrace .. an unbalanced Lobby 'shooter' overrun by Vehicle Spam that lags and is full of bugs .. wheres the MMOFPS we were promised ?

This is the best computer game I have ever played. Im not saying that it is flawless, it is far from but you people act like it is the developers intention to make the least enjoyable gaming experience. Remember that this is a game in developement(I never get tired of mentioning that) and has so big plans that they will stretch over at least 10-20 years to accomplish everything CCP wants to do with it.
