He's trolling. Yes, we're hoping for a mid February / March release for 1.8. The Dev teams are still working on the patch, and generally things are "locked in" for around a month before the patch goes live on TQ. I'll keep you guys updated when I know more specifics.

That's a tactical option that should be left imho. You can use the MD to remove uplinks...or a dropship. I've been on the receiving end of such a match but I've also seen that tower being reclaimed plenty of times.
