Ok first off I know they're are a people hate the MMC red line but we could never just get rid of it , because there is always going to one team that is better then the other and when the **** hits the fan people need a safe place to spawn and regroup.I'm for the idea of no WP/SP/ISK for staying in the red line but ONLY IF WE GET PvE.Most of the people that spend their whole time in the red line do it because they're not good at the game and they have too in order to gain sp. What should we with the people that have a hard time with this game? Punish them by not allowing them to make WP/ISK or force them into the battle just to be slaughtered?Nope can't do that, they'll just quit this game and CCP doesn't want that. Or should start lowering TTK and keep raising AA untill we make this game so easy people who aren't very good can keep up with people that are? Nope this game will become a joke and everyone will quit. All we need to make this game better and help it grow is PvE because there has to be an easier way for people to make SP/ISK while learning how to become a better player and it should not be PvP.Some people say tiericide is the way, but most people that try this game aren't very good at FPS's( and most people that are good at FPS's play BF, CoD or any other more popular shooter) so they will be still be out classed at any tier.Basically we need PvE, to make easier and more accessible to noobs and to give mid range players other opitions for SP so we can stop all the QQing about proto gear and keep the nerf hammer from making this game boring.
Mama always had a way of explaining things so I could understand them.

I agree with your conclusion that we need PvE to support new players, I'm just not convinced that the red line has anything to do with it. I don't think redline sitters do it because they are new; I think they do it because they can and because they feel no remorse about abusing something like this.

well personally I wouldn't mind if the only way to gain isk or sp(if its payable in PvE) from PvP is to win. "something like PC" but hopefully the AI doesn't play like "zitro" or pvp will be a bust.

I'm just saying most red line farmers(not snipers/tankers) are not good gamers in general and most likely tiericide won't help them in PvP.This is a free to play FPS MMORPG so 50% or more of the people that try this game aren't skilled at FPS's,(most people that are play CoD or BF) so we need PvE not just too help newberries but to also teach and train them how to play this game.

It is quite an assumption to state that people are only in the Red Line because they are unfamiliar with the game ('not good' was your term). I think a larger portion do it because it is an effective tactic with little to no risk. Get a Sica with a Damage Mod + Railgun and you can factor eliminate any Tank that gets within your view. Grab a Sniper Rifle and you can Snipe without having to worry about getting blasted with a shotgun. I do agree that PvE would be a great addition to the game.

When I first started playing Dust, I redline sniped. Not because it was easy, but because I had no idea the redline even existed.
The reason I sniped was because I wanted to get a feel for the flow of battle and some tactics from a distance, so it didn't overwhelm me.

You do understand that "red line farming" and "red line sniping" are two completely different topics. I'm talking about the people that started game, finished the battle academy, then get stomped so bad they have no idea what to do but hide where no one can reach them. What you don't seem to understand is that not to many people play this game and many people wouldn't care to play this game(while atm at least and most of my friends laugh at this game). Sense this is a free to play FPS MMORPG most of the people that try this are not going to be good at any FPS's(because anyone serious about FPS's play CoD or BF) thats why i've been saying we need PvE not only to give them a easier way to make SP(because tiericide will not help any inept gamer)but to teach them how to play.

Good PvE and PvEvP would fix so much that is wrong with this game. AI drones would probably make better competitors than the scrub chumps we've been steamrolling lately. (GG,MF.)
