A respec by unofficial means would leave a scar on your brain. Thus 35% of your skill points are lost during the process. A steep price that continues to increase with each use. So 35% the first 38&% the second etc. A feel a reasonable price to pay.
35% that to much player who have 20mil+ SP will lose a lot compare to a player with 10mil or less beside that its better to pay ISK let say for every 1mil SP u pay 1-3 mil ISK or 5k-10k AUR for re-space

Team B Captain > Okay good first round, John swap over to sniper like we discussed and well get that tank called down but park it in the red line, here's the money for the respec. Match starts Team A AV Squad > WTF is HAV that supposed to tear our team a new one? Team B > Trololo lo lo there is solution for everything let say there gone be respace for isk when there is a tournament all respace are on hold and if something make a 2 passible respace per year in this situation there gone be no respace spam
PS is not like I want to get respace |

Respecs dont give you anything another player couldnt have gotten for free. It only gives you a chance to play the game a different way. If someone wants to throw money at CCP (and therefore allow them more funds to make a better game) to use the FOTM? Awesome.
AUR respecs are a lot less pay to win than AUR skill boosters. I dont see how anyone could argue against AUR respecs and not skill boosters. But both are good, solid ideas for CCP to make money off this game and keep it F2P.
Basically, Im for AUR respecs, not because id do it, but because I want more people giving CCP money.
The best way to handle AUR respecs would be to make each respec module only able to reset a certain amount of SP. I read in the past, ideas about ones that reset the SP over time. So basically I equip my active respec, select the skill to "untrain" and it drains the SP from it.
This way, its pretty much like a passive booster, but faster but with the negative of losing the skill you dont want anymore.
That seems completely fair.
and that even better idea |
