Anyone who'd rather a Sidearm over an EQ slot doesn't know what they're talking about, Scouts rely on alpha damage, and you shouldn't have to switch up weapons because most of your hits will be 1-2 hit kills. (Except for Heavies, which is understandable)

It would be ok as a side variant, but not to replace current scout models.
The suit we have now should be renamed the 'Assassin', and the Suit that we will get, should be the new Scout suit, with emphasis on EWAR and Scanning before combat.

We could even go all Medic and use a Nanite Injector and Rep Tool (Even though its not ideal)
Or even a Ninja Injector with a Cloak and Nanite.

On a Scout suit? I'd prefer the ability to fit equipment and EWAR items when they arrive.
But CCP should just go ahead and make a new light frame role that focuses on Combat, with only one equipment slot, and a bonus to CQC weaponry instead of Range amplification, and EWAR items.

Yes, Scout players have put up with a lot of ****, but just because we have, doesn't make us entitled to keeping our Combat Effectivness while being able to fill our role.
The idea of the Minmatar Scout not getting an extra EQ amazes me, its as if people just want a faster assault suit, the only way the Minmatar Scout would work, while still being the more Combat focused Scout is if it gets, 2 EQ, 1 Sidearm, and 1 Primary, along with all its other modules and the Nade slot.
If the Minmatar Scout gets nothing but one EQ slot, and a Sidearm + Primary it will be the most useless suit on the battlefield.

Who cares about WP gains, as long as you get the advantage and win the battle.
