this is the part where your argument falls apart. LAVs and dropships are both light vehicles, then they should have roughly the same tank. by your recommendation one forge gun rounds worth or an AV nade.

I actually went into the game to see if there was conflicting information in the dropships description or some other place supporting your claim, there isn't that I found.

however, the loading screen with the map key denotes light vehicles as an empty shape, medium vehicles as a half filled shape, and heavy vehicles as a filled shape. in game on the map the dropship's symbol is an empty triangle, hence it is a light vehicle. as of this post according to map icons, and market descriptions, there are NO medium vehicles in dust.
