Caldari heavys will be gods to new players who dont run flux. I for one run flux and almost all my heavy suits but my fast heavy suit. Shield heavys will be good in pubs but in not PC they will die faster then any other suit. 100% im not clowning on caldari heavys but all it takes is 1 FLUX and they are died. Even if the delay is super short, they will die faster. We all know in PC we spam nades and flux.

I wonder if a flux counts as the splash damage bonus? And I can see Caldari Heavies being used in PC they will be the second fastest and will be to regen shields fast let's say your guys flux their nanohives and the other guys have already threw all their hives well that's when Caldari heavy steps in and does his thing. Also I play heavy alot and even when someone tries to flux me I get to kill him because I chase him down that split second he throws his grenade is all a heavy needs. If you think Caldari Heavies are done because of flux grenades you will be sorely mistaken because a good heavy can dip dodge duck and dodge grenades verily easily unless it's a suicide run of course

You're in an armor suit. Pretty sure you'd get fluxed a lot in a caldari heavy suit, just like all the old OP cal logis with 800 shields did.

I'll conceed that, I am vaguely familiar with running Amarr suits. I have actually wondered if they will change the base HP stats since it's no longer the "placeholder" but that's besides the point.
It's primarily armor tanked unless you happen to be some rogue heavy suit shield tanking innovator. Nobody sees an Amarr suit coming at them and thinks "flux". But a pre-nerf callogi, everyone did.
Now, a better question I didn't think of before was whoever mentioned the "splash" resistance and how it might affect them....

That was me I was stating that the flux might be 25% ineffective against heavies since it is splash damage but time will tell

With the heavies new splash resistance a Standard flux will do 900 damage, a advanced will do 1125, so no, you wont be immune to fluxs as a heavy. |
