Hawk-eye walks towards the main kiosk. He taps on the kiosk desk to get the attention of the drone manning it.
"Could you direct me to the 'Homeland' Exhibit"
Falling is, in many ways; just like that thing that we call "Flying"...
Right up until you hit the ground.

"Thank-you"
Hawk-eye gives a small nod to the drone as he leaves the kiosk. He heads towards the lift, and repeatedly presses the "3" button until the doors slide closed.

Emerging from the 3rd floor hallway; Hawk-eye enters the 'Homeland' exhibit. The whole room and been carefully and painstakingly modelled to exactly emulate the harsh barren landscape of Caldari Prime. There are several scale walk-in buildings with plinths and display cases showcasing everything from the trademark uniforms and equipment used by Provist occupation and security forces to large fragments of hull plating and machine components, presumably salvaged from the Shiigeru's remains.
The walls and ceilings have been painted to give the impression of the Caldari Prime night sky, incredible attention to detail was given to this, and every wisp of cloud and every grain of dust looks in-place. At the back of the room is a mockup of the Kaalakiota mountain range; with the Shiigeru crash site clearly visible.
I remember the sky being filled with a lot more flaming debris than this He thinks to himself.

DING!. A pair of lift doors at the entrance Syndicate exhibit slide open; revealing the still-clad-in-armour Hawk-eye.
There's a lot more people here than upstairs.
He cautiously enters the room, as if all these baseliners around him were a live minefield. He walks over to Ermac and Ravenwing.
"I thought that you weren't allowed to carry weapons around the facility" he says, pointing at Ravenwing's rail rifle.

Hawk-eye takes a few steps toward the shooting range; just enough to be in range of the holographic emitters. He taps a few buttons on his CHI (Cortex Holographic Interface ((The holographic thing that pops up on your arm when hacking things)) ).
Small white pinpricks of light start dancing around him, scanning him so the holographic imagery can be synchronised to body movement; these pinpricks start converging on his right hand where they begin to take on shape and colour, soon the dancing pinpricks vanish, leaving only the holographic weapon in his hand. He holds it up.
"The Amarrian KLO-1 Scrambler Pistol, personally my weapon of choice for when you need something with a bit more... Finesse ".

"O.K. I'll load up a basic range to start off with"
Hawk-eye walks over to one of the lane terminals and loads up the first program he can see on the list. Holographic walls flicker into existence, taking the form of a standard shooting range. He taps a few more buttons to calibrate the simulation parameters.
"10 fast moving targets; 100-200 metres, you gain more points for hitting close to or on the centre. Severe scoring penalties if you miss."
Several randomly moving holographic targets appear at different depths, each one is about 1.5 metres in size.
"Who wants to go first?"

Hawk-eye steps onto the firing line and raises his pistol, carefully taking aim at the targets. The signature yellow beams of light start shooting out of the fine ornately crafted barrel, finding their mark dead-centre; each target flashing out of existence as quick as the next until none remain. He steps back from the firing line.
A small prompt appears on the terminal:
Shots fired: 10; Targets hit: 10; Mean accuracy rating: 98.25%; Performance: Excellent.
"Heh." He shrugs his solders, then pats Raven on the back with his free hand.
"And I used 20 less bullets then you did". ((The standard short burst is 3 bullets.))

"Just because it's a laser doesn't mean it's easier to hit. If the barrel is even slightly out of alignment with the target, then you could miss the target altogether, depending on how far away you are." Hawk says as-a-matter-of-factly.

An amusing thought popped into Hawk's head.
Raven really loathes and despises CONCORD, so I wonder what would happen if...
He starts intensely manipulating his CHI, the holographic firing range disappears (but the weapons they are holding remain); the scene changes to a large modern office styled to Caldari architecture. A single silhouette of a man begins to form behind a desk. The white silhouette slowly morphs into a famous CONCORD spokesman whose name is both mysterious and unknown (for the porpoises of convenience; he shall be called... Florence!).

Huh, that didn't go as I had expected... Hawk looked down and shook his head, almost as if in disappointment. Then he notices.
"Why did you use a sniper? He was like, 2 metres away." raising his shoulders and hands noticeably.

Hawk leaves the firing range quickly; although the explosion caused by Ravenwing's flaylock pistol was purely holographic in nature, it did cause the holographic room to have a large hole blown through it. Despite the hole being purely non-existent, it still had caused the crowd to disperse in panic. Perhaps these simulators were a bit too realistic...
He quickly joined the crowd before anyone started asking questions; it would be hard to explain if they did. on his way he overhears a conversation near the homeland exhibit.
Overheard person wrote:Yup, that's me. Pixy
Hawk turns and sees that it is Galm.
"Pixie? Seriously?"

Galm Fae wrote:Galm looks horribly offended, pulling his cap down with a stern look.
"That was my father's callsign in Mordu's Legion sir, and he did more under that callsign as a baseliner when he was seventeen then you could ever hope to do in your immortal career."
Hawk ceases his fit of laughter and quickly pulls himself to his feet.
"Ahh..." He raises has hand to his chest, with his index finger pointing up to the ceiling.
"I-I am t- terribly sorry... I-I-I was... Uhh... Unaware of this." He says, stammering and blundering.
He falls to his knees and looks up at Galm.
"F-Forgive me... for this, this aw-awful transgression"

Galm Fae wrote:Galm rolls his eyes.
"Perfectly fine. I'm used to others making fun of my callsign, so it doesn't bother me too much. Besides, it just makes it all the more satisfying when people realize that I can still rip them in half. I assure you, it used to be in the Tenal region that 'Pixy' was the safest fighter to bet on in Gladiator matches."
Hawk quickly snaps out of it and stands up while regaining his composure. The position of the floor his knees had once been was now covered in small cracks, having buckled under the momentum of the heavy sentinel he was wearing.
"Don't worry, Uh, I'll pay for that... Later" he said, looking down at the floor.
"Although; considering that my particular profession in the mercenary business involves being shot at and stabbed more then the average merc..." He says, gesturing with his hands to the large number of chinks, gashes, and plasma burns on his chest-plate that he hadn't yet repaired "That you might have a little trouble ripping me in half; and trust me, people have actually tried."
