After some slight renovation and remodeling, a previously empty wing of the Summit had been bought up and reformatted to accommodate the war museum. The primary focus of this new attraction isn't so much for the mercenaries themselves, but more a public relations campaign aimed at romanticizing their role to the facility's many civilian families and their children. Admission varies by age group, but remains free to all veterans and active duty military personnel.
What originally began as a pet project has easily grown to become a new and exciting addition to the Summit complex. Thanks to private donations from an esteemed military collector and arms dealer there are enough artifacts to fill every room purchased from the previous owner. The collection is so vast in fact that the exhibits are constantly being swapped from cold storage in a distant Freedom Extension warehouse, to temporary appearances at State War Academies, and back to the main Yulai III Museum.
"Welcome!" greets a drone from a nearby kiosk, "We have a variety of exhibits on display today!"
These include:
Homeland Collected artifacts from the retaking of Caldari Prime, including a partially destroyed CRU covered in civilian graffiti and parts salvaged from the wreck of the Shiigeru.
Future Warrior Showcasing the next generation of weapons and equipment hitting the field, including the prototype "Dragonfly" series dropsuit and the "Raven" Assault Platform.
Airborne Displays past generations of dropships leading up to the modern Python, Myron, and Incubus series. Features the wreckage of a downed member of the famous 'Condor Squadron' and concept art for the next generation of Amarr fighters.
Syndicate Our more popular exhibit. Holds a mock armory containing racks of rare firearms, a virtual shooting range, and a machine shop where visitors can watch real combat engineers perform maintenance on various LAVs and MTACs.
Royals The cabin of a Tash Murkon Magnate frigate, temporarily grounded and open for viewing. Sit where members of the esteemed Tash Murkon family once had!
Conquest Artifacts recovered from the planetary conquest of the Molden Heath region. Includes recovered weapons, equipment, and personal effects of real mercenaries who fought and died during the first six weeks.
Templar In our most recent and exciting attraction, we have completely recreated the armor and weapons wielded by the Thirteen original immortals during the battle of Pikes Landing. These truly beautiful and exquisite works of art are not to be missed.
Gift Shop Immortal action figures, t-shirts, books, water bottles, ship models, and other assorted paraphernalia
"Where may I direct you today?"

The museum AI pulls up a series of images of the Battle of Pike's Landing, displaying the holograms around Ermac.

Quote:"Hello all" Raven walks over to galm "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Galm flickers for a moment before Raven realizes that he is taking to a perfect hologram of Fae-haan being projected from a nearby terminal. A light, femenine voice plays from the terminal.
"Galm Fae, Eskola Ergonomics Head of Security, Chief Executive of The Eskola Private Intelligence Center, and military arms collector!"
The hologram begins to speak now in Galm's voice.
"Welcome to the Eskola War Museum and Memorial, Raven. I understand your doubt in the practicality of this facility, but I assure you that this is entirely to foster goodwill between mercenaries, civilians, and CONCORD officials. May I answer any more questions for you?"
The hologram operates on a "dumb" AI loaded with the profiles of most of the Summit's visiting mercenaries, built off the EPI-Center's own database. It's answers to questions are accurate, but limited.

"Could you direct me to the 'Homeland' Exhibit" "Certainly sir! The 'Homeland' exhibit is on the third floor, down the hall from the 'Future Warrior' display. It will be hard to miss, as the room is modeled to reflect the environment of Caldari Prime. If you reach the bathrooms then you've gone too far."

It is uncertain if The Thirteen was a reference to the amount of soldiers or if it was the number of their fighting division." "thanks for the information museum AI" says Ermac while he studys the pictures of the almost legendary battle that occured on the core freedom colony where the first templar troops had been send to retake the planet from the Valklear Army that posed as the main PDF of the planet. Ermac only heard rumors and snippets of what really happend there during his mortal days when he was still working for the security force of his homestation and still has not a clear image of what happend during these days. He only knows that this battle has changed a lot of things in new eden. He still asks himself what happend to the first templars but to be honest is that not his problem and people who dwell in the past always annoyed him especially himself. Ermac turns away from the pictures of destroyed buildings, burned Valklear soldiers and Paladins getting bombarded by republic ships towards the drone and asks: "Say museum AI that "shooting range" that you mentioned where can I find it?" "The shooting range is hosted on the ground floor in the vehicle depot as a part of the 'Syndicate' exhibit. While you are there be sure to see the rare weapons on display like the 'Toxin' weapon system."

((Can you not do this in my threads Raven? It's stupid and unrealistic that you'd ever even get a weapon into the museum. The only reason I never said anything was because I figured any fool would know that a firearm's safelock would be held on in a public location. And if you think you could ever have the money to buy the things on display here you obviously have no concept of how expensive these things are. Every item I listed on display I actually own in-game.))
A new hologram projects, this time as Galm Fae. Even though the machine can't really feel rage, it does a fantastic job of emulating it.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave, Raven. Any further destruction you cause will only lead to your own termination and permanent ban from my facilities."
While Raven has his attention focused on the hologram a security guard takes him by the neck and slams Raven's head into the wall... Hard. The blow is enough to crack his skull and leave him on the ground in a crumpled mess. The guard pulls out a green painted submachine gun and unloads a burst into Raven's chest.
The rounds would be melting his insides to soup before the end of this sentence.

sir ravenwing wrote: Raven walked off still searching for the real galm, sees ermac acting weird perhaps in a flashback but kept walking Finally he finds galm or hopes so not knowing if it was a annoying galm hologram "hey pixie-boy"
To his surprise, the real Galm turns around. He scans Raven from top to bottom with an awkward crinkle of his face.
"Ah Raven!" he says with a friendly but worried tone, "Good to see you are enjoying the facility! I ummm... How did you know to call me P--... Oh right, right, my memoirs. Good to know someone actually reads them I suppose!"
He shrugs.
"Yup, that's me. Pixy."
If Raven were the observant type he'd begin to see just how fitting his name is. The Intaki in him makes him look much less beefy and a bit more dainty than most Civire.

sir ravenwing wrote:"Well that and another reason which will be told soon, but anyway where did you get all this stuff?" Raven says and continues "oh and the 13 templers were larger than the display and here" raven hands 'pixy' a key "old fashion lock on Caldari prime open it and should be some pieces of a infantry batalion LAVs and the weapons they used" raven started walking off but stoped "and upgrade those damn AIs" "Um... Thank you. Most of these I actually purchased on my own either through Aurum transactions or by trading PLEX. All Eskola SVK really needed to pay for was the facility."
Raven has already started to walk away before he has finished speaking.
"Uh... Yeah... Alright."
Galm doesn't bother making the point that smart AIs are still illegal in Empire Space.
Quote:"Pixie? Seriously?" Hawk lifted his hand to the front of his helmet; about where his mouth would be, and hunched down, as if desperately trying to contain tears brought about by a series of laughing fits. Although several sniggers began to loudly escape, despite his best efforts, and soon he fell to the floor, rolling around guffawing.
Galm looks horribly offended, pulling his cap down with a stern look.
"That was my father's callsign in Mordu's Legion sir, and he did more under that callsign as a baseliner when he was seventeen then you could ever hope to do in your immortal career."

Hawk ceases his fit of laughter and quickly pulls himself to his feet. "Ahh..." He raises has hand to his chest, with his index finger pointing up to the ceiling. "I-I am t- terribly sorry... I-I-I was... Uhh... Unaware of this." He says, stammering and blundering. He falls to his knees and looks up at Galm. "F-Forgive me... for this, this aw-awful transgression" ((I am a terrible person, aren't I? ))
Galm rolls his eyes.
"Perfectly fine. I'm used to others making fun of my callsign, so it doesn't bother me too much. Besides, it just makes it all the more satisfying when people realize that I can still rip them in half. I assure you, it used to be in the Tenal region that 'Pixy' was the safest fighter to bet on in Gladiator matches."

Hawk quickly snaps out of it and stands up while regaining his composure. The position of the floor his knees had once been was now covered in small cracks, having buckled under the momentum of the heavy sentinel he was wearing. "Don't worry, Uh, I'll pay for that... Later" he said, looking down at the floor. "Although; considering that my particular profession in the mercenary business involves being shot at and stabbed more then the average merc..." He says, gesturing with his hands to the large number of chinks, gashes, and plasma burns on his chest-plate that he hadn't yet repaired "That you might have a little trouble ripping me in half; and trust me, people have actually tried." "I'll grant you that much," Galm says with a smirk, "Most of my opponents weren't wearing armor plating."
