As far as "proto stomping" goes, I get it you spent the time and you've got the money you want to show off that's fine. My only real issue is that people don't seem to realize it has to be wrecking an already terrible NPE. I mean you're new to the game there's no real walkthrough or explanation of anything and the first handful of battle you get dumped into your team gets steamrolled by a bunch of guys you can't even seem to dent, how long are you going to play for?.
I've stuck around for 10 months now. Despite the fact that I considered 400 wp to be "a lot" in the first couple of months and despite getting killed way more often than I killed others.
I chose to adapt to my low skill level in the beginning and earn as many warpoints as possible. This meant having to try supporting my team and specialize in hacking objectives rather than try to kill enemies. Playing it smart like that paid off in the end. |

Exactly.
Ive said before when I tried creating a new character, the fleeing you get when you leave the acdemy is not "Omg this game hard, I want to get better", the losses are so crushing, so deceptivly absolute it involves "Omg this game is hard, wtf am I playing it, why would I spend real money on items Im just going to lose to people who have a 1 year leg up on me" /uninstalls.[/quote]
Speak for yourself. "Omg this game is hard, I want to get better" <-- Pretty much exactly how I reacted.
I like the fact that Dust isn't welcoming to everyone but appeals to only a certain kind of players, sort of like Eve does. It keeps out the immature and loudmouthed kids with insecurity-issues like the ones you often encounter in CoD -.- |
