If it evens out where I can upgrade my plates and fit a repper I'll be fine. If it makes me even squishier then before I'll find a new game to play. Between equipment and the rest of the mods my cheap fits are 50k isk and they get melted like butter. I have 0 sp in remote reppers so as a mini logi I am losing my hacking bonus and my 5 hp/sec and gaining a bonus that I will not get anything from.... hooray. I lone wolf, I am not going to chase around random people with a repper in my hands and get shot to **** and lose even more isk then I normally do. And I damn well know I am not the only one who shoots the logi with the repper first. My suit just can't take that beating.

Logi can do it themselves through rep/triage hives. Same way non logi heal up with compact hives.
Or you could get another logi to heal them. The reason everyone used the logi suits was they could do everything. Having a few limitations is a healthy thing.
Or they could fit a armor repper like everyone else in the game...
Choices, use them...

I am not for many limitations but make it not profitable or just not as good as whatever suit, make it do logi stuff well and other stuff not so much. People are using battle logi because they are easy to win not because they are that much better.
Assaults have better stats and people have created this idea that the logi is the ultimate suit when it really isn't. I would put my ISK on a team of pro assault players before I would a team of pro logi. This logi crap is a fad that has pretty much existed for a while that is just now taking off. Nine months ago I was a full time active rep Gal logi but I have been pushing an Amarr logi lately for the tool bonus.

I think it will result in less Logi's, I for one would give up being a logi given the opportunity because of this... Now in order to ensure full extremely needed armor, will have to waste valuable on equipping rep hive. |

I'm a front line min-logi often pushing up with the squad to get the hack while they cover me. Losing both the hacking bonus and the passive rep bonus is going to really put a dent in that. I'll have to drop the codebreaker and fit a rep now instead so that's a roughly 40% loss in hacking speed.
I do think the new bonuses make more sense but losing the old ones is still going to hurt. |

I'd love to see the 1hp/sec/lvl moved to the Repair Tool skill. Make it so that you get the bonus when you have the repair tool in hand. This might be enough of a bonus to entice other suits to use reppers as well.

Choices, use them... I used the Minmatar Logistics so I could repair people, because I love seeing that imaginary smile on a heavy's face when they only have 60HP left and they see me repping them.
Your right, limitations are healthy. So how about we remove that equipment slots from Assaults eh?
But hey, Minlogis are dual tankers. I can just shield tank and fit reactive plates in my lows.

You might want to stop specing, because if your referring to the Repair Tool, for it is the Minmatar Logistics that will receive the repair tool bonus

the repair bonus has to go And I also don't like what they are doing with the Minmatar Assault bonus.
The sidearm bonus was incredible with an Ishukone SMG, and a speed tanked fit.
F*ck Damage Mods.

It was to specialized of a bonus. It literally forced you into that play style. One play style for an entire race is horrible game design. The new bonuses will allow for more viable fits for minmatar assaults.

This right here is the main reason I won't be running logistics anymore. That armor rep bonus has allowed me to get out of sticky situations by barely getting enough hp back to get out of a hot zone. It also lets me move forward in enemy fire and heal or revive people and protect them because I know I can temporarily tank the damage and repair it after everything has died down.

it did have to go and the new bonuses should benefit us (i hope).
my solution to this though is https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1693888#post1693888
it sort of lets us keep or reps but not allow assault logis to have it so hopefully no complaining
