I'm wondering why are the scores for this game so lop sided. You mean to tell me that my team could only score 2 kills out of 80. Why does this happen so often in this game.
There are several inherent issues ATM when doing pubs, a game such as you described was most likely the result of either bad luck or que syncing.
In the current state of the game there are several corps and players who run prototype equipment and regularly squad up. This means that not only do they have better gear then you, but that they also have far more experience in the game considering the number of hours needed to gain the skill points required to aquire this gear. It can be a painstaking lesson running against just 6 of these players fully equied with better gear and working together over voice coms.
Then you have que synced squads. Que syncing is when multiple squads all try to use the system to get into the same match. This is possible by setting your server and battle type to the same thing as the other squads and using voice coms to simultaneously que for a battle. Usually resulting in both squads entering the same battle on the same side. This results in what is known as a proto stomp, when your facing a team made up almost entirely of proto equipped players, communicating over voice coms. The end result, is as the name suggests, that you get stomped. This can occasionally also happen from just bad luck if two proto squads and up on the same side without syncing.
Then there are the tanks. Tanks are currently op in vs infantry combat. Anti vehicle weapons are hard pressed to defeat them, and the only real cure is a tank on your own side. However tanks can also squad up, even using proto gear n the tanks, usually making it difficult for anti vehicle infantry and allied tanks to combat, which can result in very lopsided games as tanks rack up 20+ kill counts. Put 5 squaded tanks in, and they can easily rack up kills then you can kill the remain ing 11 infantry players.
Also due to their experience these players often know the best places to fight r camp from, on top of buildings only reachable by drop ship and the like, and can often be hard to attack if they are in these locations.
My reccomendation is to simply avoid these matches if you can. You will gradually learn what corporations to avoid in public matches, but the following is a quick dirty guide to corps known to either proto stomp vehicle stomp or both. If you see 6 or more ofplayers from these corps I reccomend you leave battle till you are more comfortable with the game and experienced and feel like testing your mettle.
Nyanchan
Nyansan
Sver true blood
Dark legion
Phoenix federation
Ancient exiles
Molon labe
Outer heaven
Motinai japan
Hell storm inc
Venezuela corp
Dark legion
This is only a partial list, there are others, however these are some of the more common ones you will encounter that I reccomendyou avoid. I will oonly go into a match against these corps if my own teams has some half decent corps, or my own squad I believe capable of at least giving a good show.
(For any of the above corps reading this, they are not listed in any particular order of threat level, I'm not saying any of the above corps are more or less guilty, or more or less powerful, merely that they are known threats for new berries and lesser equipped/experianced players and squads alike. I have a lot of respect for the majority of the corps listed and have enjoyed the occasional oddball squad with your members, it does not however change the fact that I would regularly avoid matches with a majority if these corps on the other team.)
