Just look at the Sentinel/Commando/Logistics bonuses, they are all consistent. ALL Sentinel suits get passive tank. ALL Commando suits get passive damage, and ALL logistics suits get equipment perks, but the Assault bonuses are just all over the place. Considering the +2% RoF bonus that encompasses all assault suits is weaponry based, I believe that is what you should try basing the assault bonuses on, rather than just wildcard-ing the assault class.
Otherwise, it's all good.

I don't agree. In fact, give the Amarr suit the heat bonus it currently has instead of the RoF bonus. That would be "wildcarding" but it would make sense having Amarr weapons work better with Amarr suits instead of Assault Rifles and Rail Rifles working better than the Scrambler and Laser Rifles.
If any assault suit can benefit from an active tank, it is the Amarr suit as it has the most inherent armor. However, I would still rank its module bonus the worst of the four. |

They are much closer to the military doctrine found on the EVE side.
Minmatar: hit hard and run before exploding Caldari: massive shield buffers and hit softly from a distance Gallente: armor up to survive until they can close and then unleash massive damage Amarr: hide in their armored shells, repair as needed, slowly burn through the enemy

Actually compared to how it is in EVE things are a touch reversed in DUST.
Amarr are the buffer tanks (tank by having lots of armor) while Gallente are much more resistance tanks (Harder to go through each point of armor)
So if things were to follow this nature, Armarr and Gallente would be reversed.
Also, the ROF bonus does not benefit all weapons, and serves as useless at best, and a determent at worse to the SR. This is doubly painful, as many SR dedicated users went Amarr Assault, and will be losing the heat bonus from that suit as well, which many feel was a good Assault suit bonus.
