Well I guess I have to delete all my current logi suits.
and
Scanners already scan longer than people can respawn (hence the scan spam you see all the time).
Scanners already 'recharge' faster than your scan visibility time.
Scanners already took some heat in multiple threads on the forum.
Gallente logi gets bonus on scan duration...LOL
Is CCP really that incompetent or are they changing equipment too? |

In Skirmish games, I use the mobility and hacking bonus of my MinLogi to help my teams secure and keep objectives. Now, it seems as if CCP wants to relegate MinLogis to nothing more than squishy field medics. Its been known for a while that all logis would have thier bonuses changed, you still have slots to add a hacking mod on, thanks to the 25% reduction in cpu and pg on equipment
That goes for all suits....does that make it a good choice? |

Thanks for removing the thing that made me spec into the Minlogi in the first place, sweet, well played. And yes, you said the bonuses were temporary, but could you have chosen anything LESS suited for the Minmatar logi? I mean, seriously? FYI Gal/Min/Cal logi suits already have a 15% hacking speed bonus while Amarr have 10% bonus. The added 5% was nice, but the repair range will be very helpful as well.
In open fields...not exactly the place where I want to be with a minmatar logi.
I wonder if they would change the current skill-tree heavily too? |

I believe you are only familiar with 'logi slayers' as a reduction will also mean that it would be harder to make a decent proto-logi (even with the bonuses). |

EDIT: Nevermind, thanks! What does the caldari bonus mean? This is completely unsupported speculation but I suspect that a cloak is an equipment module activated by "firing" it like it's a gun. I have no idea what the cost is associated with (some kind of charge?) and how that's related to cool down. I think at this point any guess is as good as mine.
My guess would be that activating the cloak field (equipment or module?) ask more PG/CPU from your suit, so you would have to need some free PG/CPU (leave some module-slots empty) on your suit if you want that cloak (unless you have those scout boni).
The cool down working the same as active modules on vehicles or the scanner.
It's a stupid guess as the cloak-module-equipment would be useless if you don't have that spare PG/CPU...
maybe the 'firing cost' is some charge time or something? |
