It's perfectly logical that racial dropsuits have bonuses to their respective racial weapons/equipment. EVE has that approach from day one, and I suspect DUST didn't have it only because CCP didn't release all racial stuff from day one (as it should).
Repair rate is a **** bonus for min Logi considering their suits are made for shield tanking..

Now that it is changing I would take another path, a refund is in order. I took the swarm launcher path because it could kill tanks. Now that is changing, I would like to take another path, but no, a refund isn't in order, because I realize that CCP nerfed my stuff. On the bright side for you though, CCP Shanghai has no backbone, and is worried about losing players so much, that anything cried for enough will be given. So a respec is almost assured. :/
Apparently this concept is hard for you to grasp. A nerf/buff/balance is not the same as changing the role of the suit.

The role is the same. Your argument is fail.
Thanks for proving my point, it is hard for you to grasp. WHat is currently a great suit for flanking and getting a speedhack in (supporting your squad) will now only good for babysitting a heavy.

Obviously you spent your skills unwisely, as you decided to skill into a logi suit to do a scout suit's job, when you long knew the bonuses provided were temporary. That was a poor choice, but it doesn't entitle you to a respec.
i spent my sp specifically for the bonus that the suit had, well before ccp said they were temporary. So yes, we deserve a respec.

Who says that hacking is "a scout suits job"? I sure as hell haven't read it in any lore, devblogs from ccp developers or any other sources for that matter. I was never informed that the hacking bonuses to the minmatar logi suits was supposed to be "temporary". I speced with the intention of being good at hacking, and I did it according to the in-game description of the in-game mechanics (which should be the only source any player reasonably should follow in order to get expected results from their chosen allotment of skillpoints). So yes I damn well deserve a respec, as do everybody else who gets the carpet ripped from under their feet by the whimsical decisions of the devs. You however argue that players should have some sort or magical and supernatural ability of foresight when spending skillpoints. Who do you expect to convince with your borderline religious mumbo jumbo? Didn't we cast enough bones and read the future correctly and therefore do not deserve a respec?
This. That said, I would respec scout if the bonus was applied to these suits.

i spent my sp specifically for the bonus that the suit had, well before ccp said they were temporary. So yes, we deserve a respec. And this guy wants on the CPM? ::facepalm:: Not you Paran, most top end players have very specific builds that evolve out of the tools at hand. Having those tools fundementally altered entirely negates some past decisions. There are new suits coming, and completely new bonuses to all suits it would seem (except scouts? guess CCP really hates them), it completely alters the game and requires people to have the option to sit down with their accumulated SP and make an informed decision based on the new foundation set by CCP. Seeing as the vehicle respec happened without a hitch, it is fair to expect an infantry based respec at the very least, if not an optional full respec like the one shortly after Uprising launched. This game suffers from poor impressions even amongst its most loyal fans, the last thing we need is to infuriate a large portion of the community.
Thats all I want, a limited respecing of the dropsuit command tree. All of my SP in weapons and upgrades would stay the same, because its already maxed
