Which has less PG/CPU than others logi. Less Slots. Less equipements. No more useful bonus. Less speed Less stmaina Less shield stats.
All of that for 30 more base ehp while he's suppsoed to be the tank. And a secondary...which takes more PG/CPU..... And no more hp regen.
Well it sucks to be amarr these times..... And all the sentinel will have Laser/blaster resistance while projectile weapons are already twice more powerful.... |

Why CCP HATES Amarians ?
I mean look at our suits ! Look at our items. Look at our new skills.
Suits : Advantage : Something like 20-30 more base HP. Secondary as Logi. Now the drawbacks : Slower. Less PG Less CPU Less potential HP because lacks of slots => We are suppsoed to be SUPERBRICK like in Eve we are suppsoed to be the best tankers but at the end everybody can have more life than us once they stack armor/shield......... Less slots.
I mean dude seriously someone already found that killing an Amarr suit is hard (Heavy don't count) ?
Now our items : WHY THEY COST TWICE MORE PG ??? And the same or even more CPU than ALL OTHER weapons ? Come on a light weapon take the same or even more PG/CPU than Heavy weapons....... Everybody wants Heavy Amarr weapons but they will take 30PG at Std level --' Why they are the only weapons that have penality/Overheat or even the possibility to make you DEAD ? (Laser overheat is more than 150hp....) Or prevent you to run or make anything during SIX SECOND. They cost twice more pG they cost more ISK. And they have the biggest drawbacks of the game ???
And finally our Bonuses come ON.
Amarr Assault Skill: Assault Suit Bonus: 2% to light weapon RoF per level. Useless for scrambler and makes you overheat even faster with Laser rifles which is almost useless in the hand of assaults. Amarr Assault Bonus: 5% to repair rate of armor repair modules per level. Best Joke EVER we have less slots and they want us to worth 90/140 hp while we are supposed to tank and we are already underdogs.
Amarr Commando Skill: Okay nice. I admit it. Commando Suit Bonus: 5% reduction to reload speed of light weapons per level. Amarr Commando Bonus: +2% damage to laser light weapons per level
Amarr Logistics Skill: And where is the idea of the combt engineer ? Amarr Logistics was ALREADY the worse. Less Hp less everything JUST to have a secondary weapons that takes more pg/cpu while you have less.... Read your own description CCP Amarr Logi is supposed to be the frontline support not the "i set the spawn and go hide i follow you like a dog use a uplink and then follow you again and again" Logistics Suit Bonus: 5% reduction to PG/CPU cost of equipment per level. Amarr Logistics Bonus: 10% reduction to drop uplink spawn time and +2 to max. spawn count per level.
Amarr Sentinel Skill: Nice finally. Sentinel Suit Bonus: 5% resistance to blast damage per level Amarr Sentinel Bonus: 3% armor resistance to projectile weapons, 2% shield resistance to hybrid - blaster weapons.
Amarr Scout Skill: Need to watch it but...give bonus on something that is not even out.... Scout Suit Bonus: 10% bonus to PG/CPU cost of cloak field per level. Amarr Scout Bonus: 5% reduction to cloak field cooldown per level.[/quote] |

Amarr Assaults aren't the underdogs, I feel. Minmatar Assaults maybe but an Amarr Assault is a very offensive based contender who can decimate in a hurry while time-to-kill is so low and scramblers are so high damage. I'd recommend considering the higher rate of fire again as the only weapon it really affects is the Scrambler Rifle itself, which already has a pretty ridiculous rate of fire (20-25 rounds before overheating with the fire rate of pre-nerf Tac ARs). Laser Rifle and Assault Scrambler can only benefit from it.
But now they can't shoot these 25 shots they lose their bonus ! So 15 shots and it's OVER. The RoF on the SCR is not affected. I've tested (exept assault variant.) RoF will just make it overheat WAY faster. You said that because you're minmatarr right ? These high damage have plenty of drawbacks i mean exept forge-gun NO WEAPON takes 11 PG at Std level.... I mean playing with a SCR means sacrifice lot of Hp somewhere else. SCR : 11 PG CR : 3 PG The CR is way more powerful. And since armor/shield vlaues it's even worse.
I think there's a big misconception about the Amarr Logi changes that people are so focused on their new bonus(es) that they're forgetting that, in the end, it can still fit other equipment. It's not restricted to -just- drop uplinks, it just gets a bonus to them. Even still, if you're placing drop uplinks and thne just running to hide you should probably use a Scout. Amarr Logi, having a sidearm and generally more HP, was designed to complement frontline warfare and be a hardy defensive alternative. Put the drop uplink down and then defend it. Otherwise I would recommend using a Scout.
WRONG. He have less life than all the others. 2 Less lsots. Less equipements.
Anything a Amarr Logi do an another Logi do it BETTER. A sidearm is not helping you if a primary don't work (or take 11PG like the SCR...) |

Thanks for removing the thing that made me spec into the Minlogi in the first place, sweet, well played. And yes, you said the bonuses were temporary, but could you have chosen anything LESS suited for the Minmatar logi? I mean, seriously? I find the bonuses to be ok, Min Logi's typically use Rep tools, and now we have the equipment CPU/PG reductions so we can add a little extra HP to our suits. I will miss my Hacking skills, and everyone will miss the 5 rep a second (In my opinion thats what made the logi make the assault suit obsolete). But no one else will have those things so people with Hacking systems level 5 will still be the fastest hackers. Maybe it wont be so bad, plus there is a rumor, much like these suit bonuses are a rumor, that we will get dropsuit respecs.
At the contrary you will lose Hp.
If we reduce PG/CPU cost of equipements for logi it also means we're gonna lose base PG/CPU to avoid Logi slayers. |

You're coming from "logis have this now, so taking it away is punishment". That's a misguided viewpoint. It's not "being punished", its "taking away something they never should have had to begin with". Logis should never, never NEVER have had the ability to have more tank than an assault. Never. So.....Logis are holdings equipements that cost a HELL of a price (Once fitted 3 equipements is almost 60.000-70000 ISK...JUST EQUIPEMENTS.) But should die in 2 bullet ?
Well you want someone to help you right ? But how will be supposed to do it while he wil die first everytime ? Less life means : Focused first to get kills.
How are we supposed to help the assaulters and heavies if ennemies shoots US first ? That's already what happen.... We repair AND tank damage for you. YOU'RE supposed to take bullets not us.
Assault is NOT supposed to be a "More hp more damage speeder more stamina more EVERYTHING". Like Logi should NOT be able to fit damagers. But i ABSOLUTELY don't see why they should have even less hp. 50 less base hp seems already good for me. Less damage YES. Less life ? Well we already have 50 less base hp. even less will be nasty.
We're not asking more life. We just ask some hp regen. And don't tell me "fit armor repair" because actually they are broken and pretty useless. These time with the actual TTK even with 13hp/s you die so fast than they dont have the time to even play a role. Single burst fire from anywhere or lost bullets take you down so fast......
Anyway to me logi just SHOULD get their PG/CPU r+Źduction to equipements. Then have less base PG/CPU (still higher than assaulters but less than now). Unable to fit damagers. Same lower base stats than assault (like now) And you have balanced logi unable to play as assaulters but able to help teamates. |
