Wow can we say is this thing even legal in dust? Even though I have a nice flat screen TV the advantage of a standard def TV was huge! If you ever see some of the great players post screen shots you will notice many if them are using standard def TVs.

It's actually because LCDs have high response times. A lot of TVs can be as high as 12 milliseconds. A CRT TV has almost no response lag. There is a pretty big difference. I always play with everything set to low and I still always get low framerates. Playing in 480p eliminates the performance issues stemming from console limitations. You will still however, run into network related game performance issues such as hit detection. The PC and SL should fit into the Sidearm slot so it's accessible and practical to carry one.
