Kill assist and destruction assist WP scaled based on percentage of damage dealt to the enemy.
War points for mobile CRU spawns.
Bonus war points for killing an enemy hacking or counter-hacking at an objective.
Bonus WP for killing an enemy that has very recently severely damaged a friendly (savior kill).
Get rid of defend order WP farming. Defend orders on other players is just an easy way to get free extra WP, and you don't actually have to defend the player; in practice I've never seen anyone defending the player who has the defend order on them. make defend orders not give extra points to the defend target, but instead give bonus WP for actions to squadmates near the defend target; would incentivize the squad to actually defend the defend target, instead of getting free WP from the target's actions. This should not only apply to players as defend targets, but also for objectives and installations.

I definitely want the scaled WP Based on damage. Hopefully, based on what one of the devs said, WP for vehicle damage will come in the next update or so.
As an aside, if all the extra ways to earn WP you bring up come (and they all should), then warbarge strikes ( orbitals?) Will become even more of an issue in pub matches. I've been in matches where an enemy squad earns six of them... An it was obnoxious. But I digress.
More ways to earn WP would also help new players. And we all know the are in dire need of help. |

Nanahives! Include nanohives! 10 WP for a heavy exhausting your hive is awful. While other equipment is inexhaustible and/or yields more WP.

Better repair tools give you wp faster because they are repairing faster. No changes needed.
Injectors need to give a bigger bonus for more hp repaired though. As for the defend order, we just need to make it so that the incentives go to the people defending the player, not the player with the order. Also, things like attack orders need to give something like a 20% bonus to actually make them worthwhile.

With low TTK this is unlikely to happen, and hard to enforce.

As for: Repair tools and nanite injectors should give WP based on how much HP is repaired. Right now repair tool points are based on how long you spend repairing, and using better repair ones lead to less WP since the HP goes up faster, and less time is spent repairing. Also right now using a crappy injector means you have more health left to repair with a repair tool, so better injectors are discouraged.

The Defend order does actually have a use atm. It can keep a squad following the designated point man who is actually going where the squad is needed. It is functioning exactly as intended.

Edit: Currently it functions thusly: X person has defend order, squad lead gains wp for their actions. Actions near the defend order are bonused for more individual wp. All actions by the defend target are bonused. The one with the defender order on then gets extra points without any justification, which then gives the squad leader points; the members of the squad don't have to be anywhere near the player with the defend order on them for this to be a successful way of generating WPs. Because of how efficient the method is of generating WPs, no one ever places attack or capture orders, or defend orders on objectives.

Agreed, and I would add:
-50% WP for redline kills and damage (sniping), both to and from, for both infantry and tanks.
-50% WP for damage to yellow turrets, CRUs, supply depots, etc.
Both would help refocus efforts to the spirit of the game. |

Some good suggestions here, but I don't see your issue with defend order..... I place the defend order on squad members who actually need support And then my squad gets bonus WP for helping them out so they earn it
As for injectors... God dammit something needs changing A few days ago a squad member died, with reds closing in on us I created an opportunity to make revive with my Proto needle .... But before I got there, Mr.Starter fit runs in gets 60wp and himself/squad member killed
Had he held off, chances are all 3 of us would have cleared out the red-dots but He couldn't resist those EZ WP
40 WP - MLT/STD 50 WP - Adv 60 WP - Pro
If this point system was used it still makes revives valuable to lower tiers And provides a bonus to using better injectors ....
